First of I would like to say, thanks to those who helped me complete my 15th year of the Chili 100. Secondly I would like to address all the BULL SHIT that goes on , on this site and others! I try hard every year to put on a good show and make money for our charities and I always get shit from people I don't know and some I do, on I should do this, I should do that, this isn't right, you should do this you shouldn't do that etc.. Well this year I damn near had my fill, I try like hell to do a good for our sport and make our sport look good to others and get people interested in our sport and most of the time (not all the time) people try to pound you into the ground over stupid shit. I am seriously thinking of not having another Chili 100 because of all the crap I get. So, now Bo tries to do your area a favor and open up a really nice track for your area and all the guy gets is Shit from people on here, how to do this, how to do that etc. Its hard enough starting up a track it takes lots of money and lots of time and patience don't beat the guy down before he gets started! This stuff is trial and error, these days especially with the economy the way it is. Lets here some words of encouragement, get out and help do something even if its just texting your friends or advertising on free sites, shoveling some clay, helping clean up or whatever do something instrumental for our sport instead of detrimental or you all are gonna be playing in your own sandboxes!! With nowhere to go!! This is Just my opinion  .

Thanks for Reading,

Janney

if you can't have fun racing , you should find another sport. there are always more rough nights than good. you gotta deal with everything. this is why i support the vintage stuff. racing is racing. plow up a hay field and lets get it on . don martin built the best track in america. and he took more shit than you will ever know. like seinfeld says,   people are the worst

I agree with her people only want what makes them happy it's impossible to make everyone happy I try my best to be positive on here as much as I can and I have offered countless times to help Bo out I wish everyone the best and hope there is a chili at the moutian in 2015 I have yet to partake in one so let's get some positive attitudes going and help the sport grow

I always enjoyed the chili races, my only complaint was the nights it got really cold!

No one is ever going to make everyone happy.  This board, in my opinion does not represent a huge percentage of race fans in the area.  Most of the people on here that complain, are the same people time and time again.  Having said that, there is a difference between having a difference of opinion and bellyaching.

In my past experience with the Chili's the issues I've had have all been out of Miss Janney's hands.  I love the Late season race, It's a Charity race so of course pays are going to be so-so.  The only issue I've had has been the aggressiveness.  Like I said this isn't her fault, but a lot of the times the fault of the Track officials.  It's a charity race so why are people running like it's a demo derby?  Let's make it an exciting race, but run me clean.  I blame some of the officials for not emphasizing that, but it's racing it's gonna happen.

As for Thunder Mountain.  I think it's great what Bo is trying to accomplish!  I agree that we need to give the man a chance.  Don't be quick to judge.  If he asks your opinion, then give it.  if not, shut your mouth and Race your car!  If you don't want to run there then don't.  Tow to Clinton County, Dog Hollow or Lernerville.  Between those 4 tracks I'm sure you'll find something you like.  Unless your name is Legend, then you just bitch to hear yourself bitch.

So if any of those tracks don't do well it's my fault ???? In that case I guess since they double the winners share of the DTWC I should get credit then ...

Wow you freakin morons cant give this woman a break.  You're criticizing everything.  even down to her Grammar and spelling!  That's whats wrong with People anymore.  They don't care how they make someone feel.  instead of listening to them they nit pick and criticize them on how they should've done this better.  that's what this whole post was about in the first place.  Janney was standing up for Bo, and also telling everyone she's had enough criticism.

Let me put this in racing terms for you.  If your car is plowing the corners you let up alittle to get it to turn.  You don't want to go into the pits and tell your crew you want a turn out of the right front just to have them tell you, that you need to drive it harder.  that's poor communication.

try to listen to what she's saying.  Now let's be adults and lend her and Bo both a hand.  If racing is going to continue to succeed In this economy, our State, or even just in Central and Western PA we all need to lend a hand and make it happen.  If you want somewhere to race support these people and applaud them for their efforts.

a lot of people bitch about favoritism at tracks, and this is why....you people bitch about little things and drive the track owners nuts with your criticism.  No wonder when that guy that supports the track spins you, the track officials don't see anything.  I would turn the other cheek too if my track wasn't good enough for you but my money was.

no I would be a shitty promoter and I know that.  That's why I don't try to tell these people that do it how to do their jobs.  Just like I don't try to tell you how to build a deck.

I agree, there are some morons on here and at the track, but stooping to their level on a rant like this (like she does every year) doesn't do any good. It's unprofessional, and she loses respect from the people who sit silent and keep their opinions to themselves.

i would have loved to go to the chili race this year but it was scheduled on the same day as dog hollow's big race and  little guys nationals was also running on the same day. but the week before there was no one  around running so maybe next year schedule it around these races and it will be better also running the streetstocks with the 406's and bert transmissions against the 355 pro stocks well i have said enough about this subject in the past so i will hold my opinion on this .i hope you dont retire we always had a good time at these races and you can't please everyone .

This post has me. A bit confused, there was very little said about the chilli at all on here, except a few nice words(see previous chilli 100 post) said, that apparently meant nothing.Lack of good sportsmanship is at an all time high, Best wishes.
