for this purse, I would hope they would be south of 30 cars. PPMS has a base of about 25 teams. I could see 10 outsiders coming in to run this race.

$20 stands and $40 pits for a $2100 to win crate race? And the kicker is sponsors are paying for payoff increases. After charging $25 stands $40 pits for a $3000 Late Model race?! Why would anyone support thus kind of gouging? Horrible management. The have less and less attendance every year. No wonder.
Well they replaced some of the boards, hopefully now they use some of the money to fix all the track lights that are burned out. That's inexcusable too.

If they don't get good turnout, then they will whine that they offered a great purse and nobody came. Never mind the ticket prices and entry fee are more than a $5000 Late Model race.

I really hope they get a good car count and fan support. But, that is just wishful thinking. And yes i will be there.

If you can't afford an extra $5 to get in, go to a Pirate game instead.

Yes there is an entry fee. However, Rush tour races have entry fees and they are typically 1200 to win. So 50 dollar entry for chance to win 2100 doesn't seem too far out of the norm. Also this race is paying out quick time, heat races and dash. Not many shows will pay out for heat races. So if a driver can sweep everything, he can win almost 2500. Not bad for a 50 dollar entry fee.
