The Racers and Teams pay their own points funds through buying "spec" tires, membership fees, and various other series "fees".

No crap.... Do you think there gonna sell you the tires any cheaper than 150 if they weren't a mandated spec tire? F no!

I ran DIS for years ( Delaware ) and we had to run chain link ARs 44, 48. They gouge you there to the tune of 170 a piece.

Guess Rush or any other series should just do what they do for the "love" of the sport... Bunch of idiots most of ya. Easy to see why racing is dying period. Making my decision to walk away real soon much easier.

And I will point out I'm not only a racer but a small business owner who has put up money left and right to add to the purse for the crates at the tracks around me. In all honesty I'm sick of it all !! Happy New Year Boys...

my answer to bob and anyone else on this deal. let me see, you will either have to travel to wayne county, or ppms to race rush. ppms pays peanuts, wayne county is a long haul every week. we got a half hour drive to eriez or 7. I don't care at all about traveling, because for how far you travel to pick a pill is bs. spend 600 to just make 175 because of a freakin pill, you guys can have at it. hopefully stateline eriez go cars, and we won't ever need a rush 21 again. we can make a lot more than any of you traveling all around picking pills. ever hear spend 15,000 to make 5,000. that is rush's traveling deal to me. the points should be 10,000  or more to win for all the tracks they make you run. I know they are going to have a north south deal, but where am I going to race? freedom 2.5 hours away. wayne county 2.5 hours away. ppms 2 hours away. hell no, local, and make alittle money. now cars pays us to just show up and race. good deal, and I sleep in my own bed.

Read under fastrak PR per Stan IT WAS NOT EVEN CLOSE to Spec? Anyone can see what to place, suspension was lived due to engine builder being long time time fastrak sponsor.

The following is the press release from Fastrak explaining the situation and the resolution. It is very irresponsible of you to insinuate that Fastrak did anything inappropriate.

FASTRAK reinstates driver, car owner and engine builder in NE Region

©2010 FASTRAK Racing Series. All rights reserved
Carnesville GA (Mar-26) FASTRAK Racing Series car owner Bob Williams, driver Alan Dellinger and Engine Builder Dean Yatchyshyn of Cresap Automotive have been reinstated in the FASTRAK Racing Series. All three parties were disqualified resulting from a technical inspection after an event during the 2009 season. In question were heads found at the time to be incorrect. The heads were sent to GM immediately thereafter for inspection. GM stated at that time that the heads were not correct. Diligent in claiming there had been no alterations made to the heads, Williams and Yatchyshyn requested the heads be sent back to GM for a more thorough and detailed technical analysis.

During the initial inspection GM deemed the heads were the same serial number as the current generation 604 heads however that particular head “was never installed on a factory ‘circle track” crate engine”. On that basis, the call made by FASTRAK NE Regional Tech Director Brad Hibbard was in fact the correct call at that time.

However during the subsequent detailed technical inspection GM determined there was no ‘intent to cheat’, that it was simply a matter of the heads in question being of an older design. Hence all parties have been reinstated.

“I’m glad to see this resolved” said FASTRAK Founder Stan Lester. “I truly appreciate all of the parties involved continuing to pursue this. One thing FASTRAK can’t do is know who is and who isn’t trying to cheat. All we can do is check the parts in front of us at the time. Everyone involved in this instance proved by their continued efforts there were no alterations made to the heads. This should be a lesson to all authorized engine rebuilders across the country as to how vital it is to purchase cataloged parts directly from GM”

Williams went on to add “We’re glad that due to everyone’s ‘don’t give up approach’ we’re finally able to bring this matter to a close and can now forge ahead. The FASTRAK Racing Series has grown into what it is today by staying true to its founding concepts of maintaining a level playing field environment for all competitors. This matter echoes that. We are appreciative of the fact that both the FASTRAK Racing Series and GM pursued this so diligently. It was just as important to them as it was to us “to get it right”.

Partners of the FASTRAK Racing Series Include: Hoosier Racing Tire, GM Performance Parts, City Chevrolet, VP Racing Fuels, OldMansGarage.com , ColdWindLLC.com, NOS Energy Drink, Holiday Inn, Vicci Apparel, T.N.T.Race Cars, Rocket Chassis. Become a FASTRAK PARTNER! Contact FASTRAK at 678-935-7304 for partnership or single event packages.

*THE FASTRAK SERIES is based on the GM crate engine program using both the 602 and 604 engine types. All teams utilize Hoosier Racing Tire as the “spec tire” brand of the FASTRAK Racing Series allowing team’s tremendous savings in both engine and tire expense. The National Championship of the FASTRAK RACING SERIES is one of the largest in the United States.

RUSH IS OUT FOR THE $$$$$ look who owns it!!!!

No one is doing this for free!!!!
Like the Rush series or not it's a well organized, well teched and a well run series.
All local members of the series should thank RUSH a 100 times over.
I like the shock money and I like what LIAS has done, the bottom line is it's more money for the racer.
Go race and have fun!

I don`t care to race with Cheater and BOTH Bob and Alan are just that.  I bought a pure stock car off of chuck cozad a car owner Alan drove for and he said don`t crash the RF .... its cheated up and Alan is the one who helped build the car.  Once a cheater alway a cheater.  And to think I felt sorry for Alan he was racing with a torn up firesuit I bought him a used NASCAR crew firesuit 2 yrs ago.
