Just read Gordon so retiring... maybe a party involved? Just spreading a rumor...no facts to back anything up

Gordon's "retirement" is on Jayski. This will be his final season "full-time" in Cup racing, just like last year was Kinser's final full season with the WoO. Jeffie is making me feel old!!!

Jeffy was looking like he could catch Dale or the king with championships but I guess its maybe too hard in the modern era.
Kinser has been involved in a couple coup attempts in his times but ended up back where he was . I don't believe he would care to stir the pot now unless he will be part of the new All Stars owners or management

Would be cool to see Gordon show up and do some Sprint car driving locally.

To see Gordon in a Sprint ?!! That would be way cool but I don't believe he has a passion like Tony Stewart . He had such a great time at the dream once ( supposedly ) but never came back and I remember him at Pocano after getting a bump from Earnhardt and when they asked him about the " intimidator ' he said something like .. " No, Intimidation is when you are hanging on for dear life in a Sprint car and going as fast as you can in the high groove and steve kinser blows your doors off on the outside! ... That's Intimidation ! ". that statement made me shake my head as he was a darling of the corporate world but that the Nascar elites Punted Steve Kinser out of nascar every time he participated. However , I believe Jeffy was the reason that Dave Blaney got a shot with Bill Davis ( and if that wheel had not fallen off at Atlanta while he was leading .. we may have seen Blaney driving #48 and never heard of Jimmy Johnson )
I believe Jeffy changed as if he got wacked with a Golf club like Tiger when he got divorced. jmo

I don't think there is any "secret". Just they have not made any announcement yet!! And everyone is wondering exactly how this is going down!! If the rumors prove correct, this will completely change the situation between the All Stars and the Renegades!!

What does this have to do with Gordon? Well was posted that he is stepping down from a full time cup ride and being that the man grew up running a sprint here locally, it would be great for the hurting sport for him to show up a time or two in a sprint car. Not a Gordon fan, but just like if Tony, Dave or even Kyle Larson or any big time cup guy to run a sprint would draw in a good crowd...that's all
