I look for the announcement tomorrow as the NASCAR Media tour of the Cup shops will be at Stewart-Haas Racing at 1:00 tomorrow. What better time to make it than when all the NASCAR media will be there!!

This is going to big for Sprint car racing.
I knew the All Stars wouldn't go away, just Guy Webb.
Thanks to the Renegade's for making this happen.

UPDATE #4 - STRONG RUMOR - (1-26-15 @ 8:25 pm CST) - I've been told that the Renegades did have a meeting last Saturday to discuss what is going on in sprint car racing in Ohio, specifically the All-Stars and Renegades. The group was told that not much can be said until Tony Stewart and Roger Slack make the announcement regarding the purchase of the All-Stars. I do know (or my sources do know) that the Renegade Sprint Series will be blended in with the All-Stars in some way or fashion. From what I hear, the announcement is very close to being released...as stated previously. It appears that making sure the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed on the paperwork is what is keeping the announcement from being released....thanks to Guy Webb. So, all is looking up for the future of the All-Stars.

Tony Stewart's purchase of the All Stars has just been confirmed with a press release received here!! The Renegades will be phased into the All Stars with one schedule of around 50 races. This will probably cause schedule problems for both Pittsburgh and Tri-City, but Bedford may be good as their two Renegade dates do not conflict with any scheduled All Star race!!
GOOD RACING TO ALL!!

That is correct!! I have also received a release from the track on it. Bedford had a Renegade race set for Sunday June 7. I am thinking that will now become an All Star race for a weekend double header. Should pull in an excellent field of cars from central PA and out in Ohio for both tracks.
GOOD RACING!!!
