Rumor has it, that a couple Late model teams will have a extra crate car to race at PPMS this year. Should be pretty exciting !

As I stated many times I have zero interest in ever racing crate cars. I have a street car making twice that power through a 6 speed !! People don't " have " to race there's a million other things to do with our time.

Sharon dropped the crates due to a lack of cars. I'm not seeing your logic.

Ok lets see if Sharon had 10 cars a week, and Sharon dropped the crates one would assume these cars would have to go elsewhere to race ? Now on Saturday you pretty much have either PPMS or Roaring Knob. So one could assume unless all 10 sold their cars they would go race somewhere else? That better for you?

Seems to me the track better pray they start pulling crates a night ... But I guarantee you that won't happen. A majority of crate guys won't be able to sustain the levels of spending they have been doing and sponsors are going to be harder and harder to find and be willing to spend less and less money . And if by some miracle a bunch of front running crate cars appear out of thin air to bolster the car counts it will become harder for guys to compete and they will be more likely to take weeks off ....

While making a post putting people down for something you should make sure you use words correctly....just a thought.

I don't think you will see any car from Sharon at ppms, We are running Brighton or Wayne county, wrightsmith Wayne county, will Thomas was told sold everything and now running e mod, Dillinger I would bet Wayne county, boyer Wayne county, clay R was part time at best and if he does race my money says Wayne county, the #3 car unsure, double also Wayne county but also heard he was done, think that about covers 99% Sharon cars.

You don't have to worry about ppms at all, heard it was sold to Maverick sports. They are making a professional roller derby rink and a football field for a  professional lingerie football team.

My opinion matters just as much as yours does. I just wanted to stir up the pot a little bit. I don't think a late model guy should move into a crate. It was supposed to be a low budget begginer class until big money teams got involved and dominate. The class is a joke.

When fans of the place start to discuss how many Crate cars will show up weekly, it's time to go to a specials only format.

It's been discussed a million times. Crates are NOT intended to be beginner/entry level cars. As long as they allow $5k shock packages to go with the $5k engine, you reserve victory lane for the professionals at all but the weekly shows.
