Test & Tune this Saturday, Opening Night next Friday

The Infield Scoreboard is back and better than ever!

“FlyBy Fueled by Turner’s” and other rules updates for 2015

Sarver, PA (April 9, 2015) After a long and often brutal winter, Lernerville Speedway is ready to put the action back into the track!  And after two car shows last month, the cars and stars of Fab Four Racing Fueled by Turner’s Premium Iced Teas will resume on-track activities this Saturday, April 11 with our annual Test & Tune Practice Session and Tech Day from 12:00-4:00PM.

In addition to rotating hot lap sessions for all divisions, drivers can complete their 2015 paperwork and pass their cars through tech inspection in advance of Opening Night.  The driver registration packet can be printed from our website (Lernerville.com) by clicking the “DOWNLOAD” tab on the top right-hand side of our homepage.  Gates open at 11:00AM and pit passes are $20 for DIRTcar members and $30 for non-members, but General Admission is still FREE for fans of all ages!

Fab Four Racing Fueled by Turner’s Premium Iced Teas Opening Night 2015 is scheduled for next Friday, April 17 with Budweiser Points and the $1,000 Fueled by Turner’s Feature Wins Leader bonus program on the line from the drop of the first green flag.  A leaderboard for the driver bonus program will be on display near the pit board and in the midway near the concession stand.

If you don’t follow us on social networking, first and foremost shame on you and second, the infield scoreboard is back and better than ever; now showing 10 positions instead of five and is now linked to MyLaps timing and scoring.  We’d like to thank everyone for their patience with the lengthy replacement process, but good things come to those who wait!

Updated rules for all Fab Four divisions are also posted on the DOWNLOADS page at Lernerville.com.  The only changes to divisional rules are the addition of a Hoosier H-R 15 tire and King Pin Tethers for the Peoples TWP DIRTcar Sprints; 2015 will be the final year for the Hoosier LM10 tire in the Precise Racing Products DIRTcar Late Models and Millerstown Pic-A-Part DIRTcar Sportsman; and any 358 cubic inch Small Block pumping less than 364 cubic inch must weigh 2500 pounds after the race with driver in the Diehl Automotive DIRTcar Northeast Modifieds.

There are also a few updates to General Track Procedures, Line-Ups and Scoring.  Starting on Opening Night, all lapped cars will be sent to the tail on all feature restarts; an update from the existing rule of doing so in the final five laps of the feature.  With this change, Lernerville Speedway will be debuting the “FlyBy Fueled by Turner’s” that will allow the first car one lap down to get his/her lap back on the restart.  Following the feature, only the top five cars in the Sprints, Late Models and Modifieds need to scale before returning to the pits; while the full field of the Sportsman feature will continue to scale.  Finally, in an update from the existing rule, any driver that exits his/her car on the track during a race while be disqualified from the event.

With weather always tenuous this time of year, now is a great time to renew your FREE subscription to RainedOut.com for text alerts in the event that we have to cancel a race.  There is also a link on our homepage to sign up for the RainedOut text alerts.

What price is your tipping point for practice?

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.

If you race there once a year, why even go there to practice?

Radracer wins this one. Wait a week and you have the opportunity to get paid for practicing. Look how important $10 is to Lernerville. Could have had practice without membership fees. Rad saved $30. Lernerville lost $20. Go Rad. And if he only races Lernerville once this year he will pay the membership fee on a night when he can win some money.

Mexican bob some guy's like to shake their cars down before it counts. Race night is not ideal for test and tune. It does not matter if you race at that track weekly to make sure your car is running correctly,or just feeling it out. The guy's that sit at their computer and bitch about how bad their car ran on race night have nobody to blame but themselves. If you get ran over,or look  like a squirrel searching for a nut than that is your fault.

well, 7 charges 10 bucks to practice, and the whole crew can get in for 30 bucks. they say that is for ambulance and insurance. maybe the ville has way higher insurance and ambulance costs. I'd pay 15-20 bucks, but 30.........no way.

You guys beat on the tracks!

Why does LV charge $30.00? because they can!!!
LV still has to pay all the track personal they had 15 to 20 people maybe more, plus Gary was on hand.
All the prep work cost money, the cashiers, tech inspectors, the cooks, the flagman,Smokey this all cost money.
As a fan you could sit in the stands for free.
Bitch bitch bitch.... They shouldn't cancel, they charge too much,it was too wet, it was too dusty, they charge too much for food........Bitch Bitch Bitch.
Bitch when all the track shutdown!

they can, but will not get us up the rear....  how many officials do you need? one to inspect the cars, one to take money, one to cook a few dogs, a flag man, and gary to collect the extra 10 bucks.... don't see the need for others, except tow trucks, and ambulance. and how does 7 do it for 10 bucks?  but they can.........

They had 3 tech guys, 3 or 4 at the gate, 3-4 cooking,.........

I don't think you can compare 7 to LV that would be like comparing Augusta National to Saxon!

When was the last time the Outlaws or All Stars raced at 7?

I like 7 it's a nice place good food the track is ok but you can't compare the 2.
LV history and Fab 4 speak for itself.
If you were serious you need to get out more.
