instead of forcing new motors on us why not put some rules in place limiting the cars themselves? go back to an 8" tire, mandate stock control arms and mounts that came on the year/model frame..stock body styles, etc.

All racers need to do is start a UNION. Just what would promoters do if NO cars showed up. I bet they would listen then. Instead of working together, everyone, has there own ideas and it has been proven many times. NOBODY WINS in that scenario. Anyone remember when Richard Petty tried ? Tracks are finding it very difficult to operate with Profits in mind. Anyone look in the stands at some of the local tracks. The lack of good car counts It sure as hell isn't covering the expenses for the day. Track owners at times are pulling there own resources to pay bills. The only strong local tracks in the western pa area ( just my opinion) with a good fan base and decent car counts is lernerville and mercer, haven't been to marion center in quite some time but they used fall into that category. I am sure there's more. Know as a fan, that is the 2 tracks that get my $$$. Gone are N. Hills, Butler, Scmuckers (latrobe), Hickory, Jennerstown and Motordrome both dirt. Why name all these tracks ? Because at 1 time ALL these tracks ran on a weekly basis, 7 of them, all with good fan base and good car counts. Think about how many local garages around these tracks had race cars. Not any kore, and it's killing the sport.
