Where are all these "stock" street stocks and pure stocks going to come from?   There haven't been too many rear wheel drive cars produced in the last 30 years.   I was told a rumor that the Bedford champion has as much in his car at the outlaw Street Stock guys.   No matter what the rules are, someone is going to spend too much to win!

A uniform package of rules would definitely be ideal but the main problem associated with that is tech. You can have as many rules as you want but without enforcement it is pointless. That is why some of these tracks have cars that are out of control. One car gets away with something, soon the top 5 cars are doing it, and then half the field. At that point, does a track want to disqualify half their field? No, so whatever rule they just broke is now accepted. Don't get me wrong, there are certain exceptions that should be considered from a cost stand point. Strict rules need strict enforcement. If you do that, you will more than likely have tighter groups of racing rather than 1-3 cars out front lapping the rest of the field because they just bought their win.

I personally think the future of support division racing will be along the lines of the semi lates (amp and Clinton county), and the econo mods (Sharon and raceway 7) and even the 305 sprints, instead of pure stocks, street stocks, and pro stocks.

Best post ever. Also letting the one favorite get away with it and telling them to change it for next week doesn't work. Dq them period. No points no money. That's the only way it works

As easy as getting everybody to agree on something.

No one said it was hard. Tracks just won't. They don't want bothered with the time and headache which only makes the problem worse.

If tracks get someone intelligent enough tech would be easy. However, I think there needs to be more than two items teched if you want a stock class to work. 777 is right though, tracks just don't want bothered with it.
