I personally think Billy will do well next week. But last year he dominated the week before and didn't even make the show the very next week. So hard to tell with these big shows.

I'm in on the bet also lol. Bob Schwartzmiller gonna be tuff also that car he is running right now is a bad ass piece been. Sitting in his shop for a few years last week first night out with it.

Swartzmiller will be good also.... But he is probably not considered a "local" anymore .... Being as he travels alot more that racing at ppms

Jon- he didn't qualify through the first B main. Didn't crash. That's my point there's a lot of good drivers in this race. If I remember correctly Billy told me he was off on gear choice and it killed him.
Again I think he will definitely make this race and do well. My point was last year 28 made it and 19 went home including Jake who had 70+ wins there and Billy.

The track was hammer down and completely different than what it was the other nights which put most of the locals behind the 8 ball last year. But Bob showed he is good on the slick track also so yes he will be tough, and the Moore 17M was a good car, and who knows about Nate Smith hopefully something gets put together for him.
Kocuba is always fast, Billy proved he can beat them this week, Jeff will always be up front, Christian is super fast, just not sure who you can consider a "local" anymore.
It will be exciting
But im sticking by my word... whats the bet Mexican Bob?

Increased cars , fans and admission and since Vince did all the work and raised all the money and doesn't even get a free pit pass that night I doubt it will cancel . It's prob the second biggest money maker next to the pittsburgher

If it does rain out, we will definitely have a rain date but it will not be Sunday. They're only calling for around a tenth of an inch of rain Saturday night now then clouds so we will see.

Anyone know what price there charging to the Grandstand. This is one of the races i do not want to miss. Also, if it rains will there be a rain date. Thanks for the help.

there should not be any price change for stands or pits. Mileys aren't putting anything out for this race!!!

I'll let Matt confirm here but I believe last year the stands were $15 and pits were $35. The Mileys do pay the increased Showdown event base purse and I pay everything over that, so that is why the pits are $35. There are no entry fees for the drivers.
The raindate 99% will be in July but I need to wait to confirm with Matt and a few other people.
