Rain is coming, will they cancel on fireworks night? Had to make the 2 hr drive and turn around.

It is a monsoon here in Butler.  It is pouring and very heavy winds and this is just the beginning.  Lernerville wont get it in and should cancel now.

 

Bad start to the Jeep festival in Butler where they have over 3,000 Jeeps but tomorrows mud bogs might be interesting, lol.

Dog Hollow canceled seemingly. You wouldn't know if you depended on their cancellation text because they apparently don't send one and that banner on their site is just there for decoration.

We called Lernerville 3 times on our way up, with no answer. That is pretty unprofessional in my opinion- atleast put up a recording stating that the races are cancelled. Instead, the J-Barn Inn restaurant in Sarver recieved ours and other race fans' money we would have spent at the races, and it was well worth it.

We drove through the storm during our 2hr trek Northward, so I can understand the cancellation. However, it'd be nice of them to pay a young dirt-track broad $7.25/hr to pick up the damn phone on RACE DAY to answer the simple question "Are you racing tonight?" At $14 a ticket, the attendance of 1.58 persons (that bought adult tickets) would supply the funds to pay a 'secretary' minimum wage from 5pm-8pm to answer that simple question every Friday.

I am anxious to see the administrative changes the new owner implements. Maybe then the locals will receive the same amount of effort to get a show in as the Outlaws do.

Having to rely solely on a third-party application to inquire about the status of your establishment is pretty pathetic. Great idea, but it is only applicable to about half of the fan base who are consumed in technology.

Are you really complaining about them getting a show in? Not much for this site anymore but wow this needs corrected. NO ONE tries harder to get a show in than lernerville. No one. They new all day this rain was coming and still hoped for the best. They ran 33 shows in a row. Many days it rained in that streak. I can remember rivers in the back grandstand area during that streak. Still raced. Raced last weekend after downpours. Wow, ya they really dont try.

Pretty sure he didn't complain about them not trying to race? I think he was more irked about the lack of recognition when they are in fact cancelled...

If you don't have Twitter, or rained out whatever that text thing is it sounds like you may have trouble knowing if it's cancelled

I called the track at 4 they answered. When 100s of ppl are calling what do you expect them to do lol look up the site online or get rained out.
