Just wondering if any rain floods the pits and makes an unworkable mess why don't they attempt to fix the problem ?? Maybe install drains ? Or some more gavel ??

If they attempt to put in more drains the track would be torn up , wall torn up and where would you drain it to. The pond is full the beaver dam is full so you would flood the road and the county and boro would want permits and approval from the EPA.

How about draining it into the giant empty field outside of turns 1 and 2!? Eldora put down some nice material in their infield where it's not paved so that it doesn't get muddy at all, PPMS could easily do the same.

Nahhhh !!! The old man goes by the " fuk it " technique ...... If something isn't working his theory Is just say fuk it and pretend like everything is perfect .... That isn't how I run my life or my business ... In my world if were losing productivity dude to rain we buy shelters , if there's a line to use a saw we buy more saws , if the outlets can't handle that many saws we buy generators . I don't take no for an answer some how some way we figure a means to get shit done !!

I do believe there is piped drainage already in place there.

Lack of maintenance and interest has rendered them unfuntional.

A small detention/retention pond at the inlets would greatly decrease the amount of grit entering the pipe work, look really nice from the stands, and provide a quick source of  water for track prep.

Instead there are smashed vehicles, piles of dirt full of shrapnel and the grading is destroyed.

Nahhhhh !!! Why have a small pond inside to take up run off and keep the pits dry when you can drive a half mile down the road and back
To get water and leave the pits a muddy mess !!

TO PUT IN ANY TYPE OF WATER RETENTION YOU HAVE TO GO THRU HELL. #1 rule any type of a water holding system Must be rubber lined. Permits, surveys, approval. You have zero idea of the cost involved before you ever put the first shovel in the ground.

Yeah maybe they can build an infield care center and insert a  helipad like Eldora also.  I swear you dont think sometimes, you realize the amount of money that Eldora has compared to other tracks?  Doing things like that is easy for them...

That sarcastic response makes zero sense here seeing how Carl Icahn is worth 20+ billion and just made 2 billion on Netflix... and Warren Buffet is well, Warren Buffet...

So that means by your response, Icahn didnt do anything to increase his net worth because he didnt have as much as Warren Buffet?  When in fact he had a lot of net worth previously and did in fact try.

Apples to oranges.... Or should I say 84 Lumber to Hodgkiss Construction?

Buffet was a billionaire before Ichan ever thought of hostile take overs and proxy wars. If you don't strive to get to the top of your business your wasting your time. If your not doing all of the little things that don't cost money to improve your business you can't use money as an excuse.

I swear you don't think sometimes, since when is gravel so expensive that Eldora is the only track that can afford it to fix their pit issues?  There must be a gravel shortage that I'm not aware of.  Besides, last time I checked every promoter in the entire country has the same opportunity to become as successful as Earl Baltes was.  With PPMS's location the place should be as successful as Eldora, if not more.

The best thing to happen to PPMS would be a multi-millionaire buying it who is willing to lose a bunch of that fortune bringing it up to snuff.

Sadly, I don't see that happening.
