Great racing between Kody Swanson (21K) and Shawn Westerfield (89) in the Boss Sprints, with Swanson winning by a very small margin.  Was cool watching those two dice through lapped traffic.  Finishing 3rd was the #77, 4th was Michael Fichesser (4) and 5th was Cooper Clouse (14T).  There were 25 Sprints cars.  Alex Ferree and John Flinner battled for a few laps early in the race, but Alex went on to an easy victory over the 13 car field.

I'm just a race fan, I don't need another job, lol.  Fans like to know what happened somewhat quickly, and I have the time to do it.

Certain people told me dry slick dusty tracks were the wave of the future and led to great racing. I believe the SLM, Crate and Sportsman winners won by a straightaway with a pretty decent amount of dust for PPMS. So we can we please get some water back into the track? Not a moat, but enough to get a cushion up top and keep some bite up there and keep the dust down on the straightaways?

With all the rain we have had, did you expect the track to be tacky and fast? :o

Lol. I've given up on tacky. But when guys are burning off 1325's in hot laps there's not much water on that track!

The track was perfect. I would actually prefer it be a couple seconds slower

Sportsman guys Huck. They were able to run qualifying and heats on 1325s/LM20s/SD44s last year and were treated to 1600 conditions last night lol

It is dirt from the hill in turn 1. I walked across it to go to the stands to watch our team race and there is large rocks sticking up all over.

You guys that don't like it slick better get used to it, that aint changing . They are not gonna have a tacky track if they can help it, and they cancel with minimal rain so mother nature helping you is a long shot!

I haven't been there since May, the racin seems to be getting better, can't wait for the Laboon race this weekend.
