At least you are right about one thing. I do love Mercer Raceway Park. Every aspect about it. The competitors there are the best at their craft. The racing is great as last night's Putzy Kekich Memorial showed. The fans are a passionate and loyal bunch. I work with a great group of employees for an owner who respects and appreciates what we do. The history of the track is a long and storied one. The negative comments and rumor mongering by you and any other nameless computer cowboys will never deter the way I feel about Mercer Raceway Park.

I made the show up there a couple weeks ago. I gotta agree with what Mike has to say about MRP. The place has a loyal following, both racers and fans. Many tracks wish they could have a history such as MRP. A few individuals getting into pissing matches doesn't help anyone. I do not go there weekly. I can only say that the Saturday night I was there the racing was good, the crowd was good, and according to many the car count was decent, and say what you will about Dutko, the guy is a good announcer, he is very informative, he gives sponsor information. Many feel Mike is annoying. Try doing his job 1 time, he doesn't get the credit he deserves.

im glad I could be your hero for the night. whenever you sell your keyboard and buy a car then you can try to give advice on how someone should race when I have proven myself over the last how many weeks. the problem at mercer is some come to race and can race side by side and not have a problem but some just wanna cry and whine abt cars and not being legal and that they show favoritism and blah blah blah but if you sit back and think abt the ppl that do, you can only think if they put as much effort into trying to make their car faster or handle better than they do bitching then maybe they'd be better off. But feel free to stop by if you wanna come out from behind the keyboard and talk to me

From where i sat i saw the 92x rear bumper was dragging and the 5t front boot ripped off, pretty easy math there really. Maybe the shove was a little different than you saw? Upon initial inspection, from Larry, before any races started, he asked that a shock bracket be removed  as per the weekly rules dont allow some of the open stock rules. The bracket was removed, carb inspected and car scaled before the heat race. Larry placed the weight sticker on the car himself. That car had a target on it as soon as it pulled in the pits for the simple fact that whoever started crying about an outsider coming in started a rumor that obviously you were gullible enough to jump on Johnny. Back up and try to be more professional, what ever team you work for will be more successful. The 92x went last to second in 8 laps with plenty of race to win but the rest of the field thought it would be just fine to smash all hell out of a car because they "thought" it was illegal. It's a shame that as racers, the stocks at mercer bang the way they do. Lil guys car count last year was pitiful, I'm sure this year will be even worse. Folks complain about the stocks at that track and they should! It could be good racing but the drivers just wont allow that to happen. Congrats to the 717 crew on the win, looked clean and patient

One of my favorite places to race, call it my home track but the beating and banging has gotten outta control, the control has to happen by the people running the show, if you let drivers handle it their way there is never a good outcome. Congrats to Leigh on his win and always a good guy to race door to door with.

It all starts with the guy in the stand not saying anything bad about Brian but he has a black flag. When you have a no nonsense flag men you will get more cars someone that isn't afraid to use the flag. That stops the rough driving and running over your head and running into people. When you kno the flag might be pointed at you.But he never sees anything just wants everybody to like him. the flag man needs to have balls

Bring out the Black Flag and get rid of some of the crash artist!

Or if you don't want to do that get rid of the stocks, the class is a joke at MRP 1/2 of the field are hacks!!!
Black flag them get rid of the hacks and build a good class.

The open wheel cars put on a great show at MRP No door panel to door panel pounding.

Oh karma. Mercer needed the Stocks to pad the back gate the week of the Laboon Memorial but a month later they are dropping them and telling them to efff off for a week due to drama. Tri City thanks you.

A few years ago, I remember watching at mercer and the stocks put on the best show of the night and I walked away from the mod race because they couldn't get a half lap in without destroying each other. May have just been the night, because I don't go there much, but these things go in cycles. Hope they get things worked out. Always liked the place.
