Wow 00 gets caught up in some lapped traffic 12 makes the pass and holds on over 8 93 and 27. Quite a change of events in the last 3 laps. Unreal.

Glad I stayed. Nice racing between Charlier and Holtgraver. Plus as a bonus I get to see Cleetus run out on the track and hold the checkered flag for pictures in person. I must say I like how it appears that 11 different crates can win on any given night.

Summary thoughts: dust was not an issue, track surface and quality of racing was as good as ever, cosmetically the place is going to shit, though they still have better bathrooms then most other tracks, and the stands are no joke. They are like an inflatable bouncy house in spots.

Lest anyone think I'm being soft, tonight only reinforces my belief that the track has the skeleton of an exceptional race track and the place should be sold to someone with the money and energy to make it a jewel again.

What a difference the water truck makes!!  There were 20 Pro Late Models, 17 Super Lates, 10 Sportsman, 6 Hobby Stocks, 6 Young Guns, 10 Rush Modifies for the make-up feature and 11 for the regular show.   Heat winners in the Pro Late Models were Mark Moats Jr., Mike Reft, and Josh Holtgraver.  In the Late Models, Alex Ferree and Jared Miley.   Jeff Broniszewski and Bill Robinson won the Sportsman heats.   Dale Tuche (310) won the Hobby Stock feature over Hannah Ramsey (14H), while David Ostrander (15) won the Young Gun feature over Austin Ostrander (77).

Davey Johnson and Keith Barbara started on the front row for the RED MILEY MEMORIAL.   Johnson jumped into the lead at the drop of the green and led until lap 17, when Keith Barbara made a pass for the lead.   Barbara was sailing along with a 3 second advantage until the only caution waved on lap 27.   Alex Ferree took over second place, and running the high groove kept closing the gap on Barbara, got a great run out of the 4th turn on the final lap, but Barbara held on for the win with Ferree literally on his bumper.

1.    Keith Barbara (17)

2.    Alex Ferree (10)

3.    Colton Flinner (75)

4.    Jared Miley (H1)

5.    Davey Johnson (1J)

6.    Steve Baker (0)

7.    Michael Davis (7)

8.    Brandon Burgoon (02)

9.    Jon Hodgkiss (69)

10.  Derek Stefanick (44)

11.  Bill Kessler (9)

12.  John Flinner (47)  DNF

13.  Mike Pegher Jr. (1C) DNF

14.  Tony Musolino (36) DNF

15.  Shane Hitt (5) DNF

16.  Ben Miley (99) DNF

17.  Butch Neubert (14) DNF

Daryl Charlier and Josh Holtgraver swapped the lead during the closing laps of the feature, but Charlier used lapped traffic to his advantage and held on for a hard-fought win in the Pro Late Models, once again with the second place car right on his bumper.

1.     Daryl Charlier (12)

2.     Josh Holtgraver (00)

3.     Tommy Schirnhofer (8)

4.     Justin Lamb (93)

5.     Russ Kolesar (27)

6.     Toby Massie (22)

7.     Mike Reft (9R)

8.     #60 (think it was Colton Flinner)

9.     Scott Gunn (7)

10.   Jake Gunn (14)

Greg Martin (4M) won the make-up Rush Sportman Modified race over Rocky Kugel (6).  Greg Martin and Nick Ritchey (77) won the heat races.

The track was great tonight. The Legend can admit that I was right at any time. Hope it's like that for the Pittsburgher.

Greg Martin even talked about how good the track was after his second win and the very last feature of the night. Hopefully the water truck keeps this up.

Track was good! Liked seeing some good racing for once. See some older late model chassis beat money cars tonight.
