I wasn't home last night so wasn't able to watch, however, I heard about it...I think the race where it is - is a good thing, maybe do something with the surface, maybe get someone in there that knows how to work the track?  I'm not sure but I think they only hold one race a year there?  I've been there numerous times, it's a great place for sure.

Wonder who Tom Logano is going to blame for that flat tire?  Goodyear maybe?

Yes ! Have those 25 cars go somewhere else ! we could use a few new Richard Childresses who got their starts when some " something something organization " boycotted Talladega because it was too dangerous.  Richard Petty was the head of the group then bailed out and raced with nascar...else the King would have missed that race and who knows how many more ..

What are they paying over at the other place?

Nascar 43rd place finishers every week make more than every weekly dirt track feature winner payout added together.

Nascar has been successful and its ups and downs run by a family and not the inmates since the 1950s..Jr Johnson walked away and they still put him in the hall of fame ,

There is no higher place to be in American Racing than Nascar .. no matter how you cut it. they make dumb mistakes but have been Begging on their hands and knees bringing back the southern 500 ... and DRIVING CLEAR of the Queer FL politically correct vomiting morphation of a once great sport called Football . After Martinsville .... NFL WHO?

Just shows how a real racer really races, he hunted him down, set him up and passed...beautiful piece of driving...

Can't disagree. Johnson pulled up to his rear, stayed there a couple laps, backed up a few car lenghts then just drove on past him. Master full job of setting the guy up then passing him.

That's true skill, don't need to "move" people like Logano does...

I'm sure it will be by the time the green flag drops at Daytona.  nascar will see to that.

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

When Jimmie J. car is right. He is tuff to beat. He and his crew have always worked well together. I understand both his and Chad K. frustrations on the track when they are not competitive. Those 2 have so much committment that when there not competitive they are not happy. We've probably witnessed what this crew is and has been capable of. I think next year when the take these aero advantages away from these teams your going to see this team and guys like Stewart and boyer back in the top 5 week in and out.

The 2 car should of blocked the 48 a couple times. Then when JJ was sick of that he could of spun him and Brad would have someone to blame as to why he doesn't advance to the next round! Brad was smarter than Kenseth in that regard because the 20 was blocking when he got spun. Kenseth breaking and finishing 42nd the week before Kansas buried his chase, but it looks better if you have someone else to blame!

jo73, I agree with you on next year, Jimmie should be doing much better than he is, he's a true champion...I wish Tony S were doing better however I believe he is hampered by past injuries and the deal with Kevin Ward, more so the deal with Kevin Ward.

Tony's issues are car related

I think Harvick would disagree that there's an issue finding speed in the Stewart-Haas cars. I understand they are different to a degree, but the car isn't the reason he can't even break into the top 20 most weeks. It sucks, but there's a lot of possible reasons. Only Tony knows. He's been through more than he deserves.

Don't misinterpret what I said. It's not that he's given up or isn't trying. The stuff he's been through can be compared to going through a divorce or losing a family member. Things like that change you. I guarantee if I was in a car accident that killed a kid (even if it was 0% my fault) I would have a hard time going in to work and doing my job 100%. It's the way normal people function.

In regards to Stewart just because harvick is fast that don't mean anything, Tony has voiced his displeasure with the current package numerous times. Everyone is different you can put johnsons winning car at Texas set up in another drivers car and driver b could absolutely despise it and say he can't drive it.

I think Tony's issues are many sided, he doesn't like the package, he was injured pretty badly, and yes I know Kyle was also, but different people recover in different ways, and I do believe the Kevin Ward incident has a lot to do with it, Tony S. even said so in one interview I listened to. It had to have an effect on him, no it couldn't.
