Anyone know if they are still doing the Jack Frost race at Mercer in January?

I am not a paid rep for Mercer Raceway Park but having been there doing what I do for 25 years and having a pretty good relationship with both Frank & Bill they have not indicated any thing other than looking for a 2016 season as I said this is not an official statement simply an educated guess and the fact they have ask me to remain in my same role.

Please choose your words with care and support those that make it possible for you to have local racing.

From Mercers Website,

"Track General Manager announced today that the opening event of the 2016 schedule at Mercer Raceway Park will be an Open Practice for all divisions on March 19, followed immediately by the Annual Jack Frost Enduro and Snowflake 25 for Mini Stocks."

There's something wrong with it not being scheduled when there's going to be snow on the track, that's the fun of it.

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

Agree on that.  Who even gives a damn about an enduro 2 weeks before most tracks get going.  Something to hold us over in January is what you look forward to.  Then again, when you cancel because of the snow.......

But wasn't it -15 on the scheduled day 2015, and then it didn't warm up above 0 until March anyway, so I can understand that.  But this year they're expecting reasonable temps in Jan..
