If memory serves me correctly. It was back in 97, you needed to fill out a application and I think it was 135.00. You got 2 passes for 3 days. A parking permit, which I don't think you get anymore, and a free dinner at spaghetti wharehouse. The pain in the ass is getting in line to get your car in and out of the bldg. Long day to get in and long night to get out. Did it 1 time. 33 ford street rod.

Hey legend it is a lot more than $25! We entered last year and it was around $150, you got one parking pass for the vehicle that towed the car in, you can buy additional 3 day passes for like $20 each up to 4 i believe. No free dinner or food. The show tells you when you need to be there and when you can leave. Its basically like being held hostage and is a waste of time, esp if you have to work (better call off each day unloading and loading).

Wow. They only give 1 pass now ? Times do change. I did not do the paperwork end, my wife did, and I thought it was a bad deal back in 97. bhh, you about summed it up. The time to get in and out was horrible. Again, if memory serves me correctly I think we got home at like 3am. Yes, I made it to work. Could never understand why they didn't do time slots. You miss it, to bad. Was always told the exiting was due to insurance pd. by world of wheels promotions. Anyhow, did it and cross it off the bucket list. We had a blast with the coors beer models.

I mean don't get me wrong it was a good time. If your retired and have all the time on your hands its a good deal for you and your buddy's to go to. But for the working man like me when I did it also it was more of a hassle.

You realize it's not a racecar show right? There are actual show cars there. No one goes to see the late models, but it's cool that a couple chose to represent the sport.

If it isn't a race car show then why is this topic on this RACING message board??? This is NOT  a car show board.  Get my point slick?

No one's ever happy about anything nowadays.   Should all just be glad there was a show to go to.  It's a shame what this board has turned into.  Can't even discuss a local car show without someone getting their panties in a bunch over it.

Did you have trouble finding all the new dirt racing info because this car show post was cluttering up the board? There is no racing discussion going on and racers are typically "car guys". It was a post about something to do in January in Pennsylvania. There were a couple dirt cars represented there, so even with your lame ass argument, yes it is still a relevant topic on this board....... Slick

I wonder if a local track would coordinate with a team that has a stacker that can take 2-3 cars and have a few in the show to promote the love of the sport, the racers, their sponsors, and their track itself... just a thought... might attract some new customers that are motor enthusiasts but maybe not familiar with local facilities and events... thoughts?

It's hard enough to get a regular trailer in there
