Pretty sure it's always been 25, also pretty sure it was 25 for business and tracks too. Not doubled.

Track was reclayed at the end of the season (hence why shows were canceled)... Not true. Reason for canceling was no more money to pay out. Track sits with sub surface and all rock exposed and coal exposed

Many drivers were never paid for races

Owes more than $40,000 to track workers and employees

Didn't recognize track employees at banquet

Mr. Lockwood isn't a racer, he is a politician... He will tell someone what they want to hear but fail to execute.

Not sure where you hear he filed, maybe he filed in the Court of Public Opinion....Nothing at all in the Commonwealth Docket system of any lawsuit.

Running a race track is a losing proposition ... If all that stuff is true it doesn't necessarily show that he's a bad guy but it does show how difficult it is to run a race track

Excavation company that did all the work to the track ALL the work. Was only paid a fraction of the total bill... When approached to pay the remaining bill. Response was "I gave you enough money for the whole job"

I don't consider an excavating company " a track worker "

He also did all the track work/prep for the first part of the season. I can't verify anything else is true. Ive heard plenty of rumors, but I can definitely say Dwayne did all the excavation work to get the track ready to open and he was in charge of track prep until SOMETHING went south and he was gone for the rest of the year and the surface sucked from that point on.

Rumors get people nowhere. #1. If paperwork was filed by anyone. That is public record and can be looked up by anyone. I would think before getting all the stories by the rumor mill. Someone needs to just look it up. That and I agree with Jon. Race track owners/promoters are spending tons of there personal monies to keep weekly racing available to the fans in that area. Don't go making hear say comments. Be glad the guy is trying to make a go at it. If he is holding funds I think the racing community would have heard about it quite some time ago. 40K is a large number. If anyone as a employee would not be getting paid I don't think that person would keep saying, I like the banana, keep given it to me.

Yea, and unfortunately race tracks in general in that region of the state are not doing well. I don't know the exact demographics, but promoters have Tryed repeatedly to bring back some of those speedway's only to throw the towel in. Very unfortunate. I have said it before. We haven't seen the last of it yet. I really wonder if tracks not located near highly populated regions can survive.

The truth hurts. even Stevie Wonder can see the facts. Cancelling the last few races so the track can be re-clayed. HELLO. They still haven't started it. Brooks is owed big money and you could see the difference in track prep after he quit helping. They tried to grade the track and ripped up the transponder wires. Freaking clueless. He's already shortened up the schedule and let's see how many more get canceled for stupid reasons. Meth Mountain is history.
