Since when isn't Jared competitive ??? The only time in recent history I remember him not being competitive was this years pittsburgher . It's one of the guys to beat at any track around here ...

In what universe is Jared Miley not competitive in the super late? Him not being compeitive might be the most retarded thing I've ever read on Racestud.

Add Russ King, and those three are head and shoulders above everybody else.

Well I might be a little byist with Keith, but what I respect most about him is he does it his way and with alot less $ than those other great drivers. I also like his driving style (bulldozer??!!LOLmaybe butnotlately) and he drives a MBH & WO/ world renoun engine builder. Also watched him win 3 or 4 races in a row at ppms this year and do very well in the Pittsburgher with his domhoff back up motor.

Dave Hess too, is/was a great wheel man in any car.

Ya starboyshady try telling Davey J that blood is thicker than water! LOL!
On another note, why hasnt Miley been given a chance in the 47? We all know how underfunded(lol) his team is and he can wheel a car?!
Don't think that would ever ever ever happen. Like starboy said if Mike decided he wants to race he be in it. Buck and Mike are happy with the guys he got running it now with Alex and Shaffer.

Well I guess we agree to disagree on this one. First, I never said he couldn't get it done. What I said was he for some reason does not have the results in his SLM as he does in his crate car. Him and that crate car when he rolls thru the pit gate is a hands on favorite. CORRECT ? And, AGAIN, It is the exact opposite when he comes in the gate with his SLM. I do not no the answer to this, how many SLM wins did Jared have last year ? If your picking drivers a head of him you have to put Ferree and King ahead of him. How did he fair at PPMS ?

Lets look at the FACTS!!!

2015

Miley:  6 wins but all but one were races paying $3,000 or more to win.

Ferree:   7 wins, all regular races at Lernerville & Pittsburgh.

King:  3 wins, all regular races at Lernerville

#1 Cochran Cavalcade Points

Miley 2nd

Ferree  6th

King   25th  (however, missed a lot of races in the second half of the season)

And is someone missing Max Blair???   Won the Cavalcade Points with 14 wins, the most for any driver in the western PA area for 2015!!

However, if you are just counting Lernerville and Pittsburgh, then Max is out.

And as far as the crate cars go, Miley only won two races!!   A regular paying race at Lernerville on May 1, and a $2,000 to win race at Dog Hollow on April 25.  I doubt he ran the crate car more than a half-dozen times the whole season, so there is no comparison in my book.

GOOD RACING TO ALL!!

Walt

Jared only raced at PPMS 3 or 4 times in his SLM last year, and I think he may have won 1 feature.  You're dead wrong about his competitiveness in the SLM.  He is always one of the favorites to win when he comes through the gates at any local track.  He won several ULMS and UFO races last year, and had many other top finishes. If he ran weekly at Lernerville, he would be contesting the championship with Alex.  Not sure where you've been watching him race. As I recall, he had a decent run at the Firecracker last summer, lol.

Well, I eat my words. Thanks Walt. I did not no he had that good of a year. See that's all it took. Someone had the stats. I no Jared did not race at PPMS much last year and I thought his win totals where 2 or 3. Walt, I was thinking of Blair but being he doesn't race down in the Pittsburgh area I was clueless to his SLM ventures. I think crate wise Blair did a number on everyone last yr.

Sure did, lead 67 or 68 laps and finished third behind Scrub and Clanton. Not bad at all for a guy that doesn't run many long distance races.

To say Jared is "under funded" is a joke , correct? He has the newest Rocket you can buy & the biggest & baddest Corronett money can buy ..... He is also a threat to win ANYWHERE he goes . He started racing further away , against better competition , so therefore the wins are not as often .

Jared is far from underfunded. New cars, big name motor, new 2 car hauler. The kid can wheel no doubt and win anywhere, but underfunded is not to be mentioned. Kenny schentlebrand is underfunded!

Alex is one of if not the best local drivers , it's not fair to compare his finishes to tim schaffers in a late model
