Trucking co , sports complex last year , a housing development the year before...... All were just that , just a rumor .. No wonder no new people get involved in this sport , I wouldn't buy or build a car & not know where you are gonna race it either !!!

PPMS has been "sold" every offseason for about a decade now. I'll believe it's actually closing when I see it.

Unbelievable. So a company comes in and says Yea where buying the place but you can have your races this year. Right. WHY DO PEOPLE START THIS CRAP. If you have a source, name him, I'm sure the pr and media folks that follow this would follow it up. If you just want to say things to stir up crap. GO AWAY. The Miley's and PPMS have been ripped constantly. They have been in control of 2 of the best tracks in western pa. They've made it public knowledge, The Drome is up for sale or lease. In its dirt days, I am not a asphalt guy, that place was magic. Many said, why go to Eldora, we have Motordrome. Be thankful the Miley's have had a love for all things racing.

Plus , even if a "trucking co , bought it . Who said it wouldn't still be a track ?? You never know .... It is , what it is & we will make the necessary decision of where to race or go watch , when that time comes

Give Miley family some credit where it is due .... They had some good races there last year , way better than I've seen at ppms in a loooong time . Kudos for that !! They have made moves in the right direction for sure

I think if that happened the cars would be too fast. Lots of cars exiting over the walls if you know what I mean.

The first Winged Sprint race I saw at PPMS scared me so much because of not catch fence except for the front, I truthfully did not want to go watch again.  There's a lot on very nice people racing sprints I know and the speeds put chills down my spine watching.  But, I've never missed one since and I was sitting on the top row nearest to turn one in the bleachers to be torn down, when the wingless sprint put it out of the ball park there.  Very glad he was ok.
