I would rather have gone to Mercer Saturday but no problem I'll just go somewhere else.

Just got in from Millstream good race between the 6 and 22.  Yesterday was no problem I just headed to Butler Speedway.   Still had a fun weekend attending races in three states.  Pa Friday, Michigan Saturday and Ohio Sunday.

I see no reason for anyone to complain, if Mercer's not running Saturday, go somewhere else.  There's no shortage of tracks to go to with in 4 to 5 hours of the Pa/Ohio border.

They have started on time every race this year.  As for the dust, look at the videos from other tracks, they are all dusty.  What employees are on this site?

All the races this year?  Both those races doesn't do much for the years of watching Frank point at spots on the track for hours on end while they pack it in way way to tight.  Yes, most tracks are dusty these days...but that doesn't compare to Mercer dust.  If you don't know what employees are on here and make fools of themselves it isn't worth explaining it to you.  Obviously you don't pay attention.  There is a reason attendance there is awful, why do you think that might be?

So in your opinion what are the issues at mercer ? The guy tried last year, he lost, the weather beat him into submission. Both mentally and financially. There was one class that felt there time on track was for a demo derby. He is trying to keep the place open. As a business person you have to adjust, you cannot afford to lose, lose, lose. I hear all these complaints about the place. I went to Mercer for 5 shows last year. Mercer has been a dust bowl for years. Anybody and everybody that goes there understands that. The racing has always been good, the crowd was good every time I was there. In my opion, mercer has and always will be a open wheel division track. The sprint cars and mods put on a show up there. It has always been a shame that mercer and Sharon have gone head to head on many occasions. I hope they can keep the racing going until new ownership can be found. The sale of ppms looming, car counts at many tracks below standards. Racing in western pa is at a point where we may lose speedway's that may never come back.I for one will hate to see the closed gates at either. Only time will tell.

We already have.

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.
