I never post anything negative ..... Stupid late night crash fest ....hard to believe the few cars that were in the pits...how... Long it took to run this show. I'll skip this show next year....

By far thee worst time i have ever had at a race track. Easily 25 mins between qualifying and heats. Couldve ran support classes between then. Then took another 30 min intermission after all the heats were over. I get wanting to sell food and drinks but no need for basically 2 intermissions. That show shouldve easily been over by 1030. This is a one and done track for me. Sad because that track looks like it would produce some great racing.

Why is it the tracks fault if drivers have a crash fest ? The intermissions or delays is another issue in itself. No excuse for repeated delays. But, after the green flag drops, it's the drivers. I have read all the wrong things about the place, which I agree totally with some. You can't lay blame on them if drivers think it's a demo derby

I don't think anyone would have cared about the delays if the racing was better. I didn't even notice the length of the intermission because I was too busy having a good time with the people I came with. I thought the track was great, just the drivers (a handful, not all) really ruined the show. Not that I could probably do any better, but I looked like an idiot after telling some new fans that this would be a lot better group of cars/drivers than the regular show they had seen before.

The track was fast but the delays just dragged on forever and yes it was the same drivers screwing up the show

Those drivers screwed up the show and a lot of other people's equipment. That paired with the horrible calls on cautions has cast a pretty dark cloud on that series and track in my book.

Same guy brings the caution out 2 times and keeps his spot and the second time when it happened in turn 4 they scored the cars crossing the line after the incident rather than going back a lap.

Then a pile up happens on the front row and they charge a car that's running somewhere around 8th that drove into the infield to avoid it???

Every track has a few horrible drivers but there was no call for the terrible job done upstairs in the booth.

Maybe some of you do not know this. Thunder Mountain Speedway's officials had nothing to do with the ULMS series on Friday night.

The ULMS has their own officals that take control of the late models from the time trials , to the heats , to the B-main (if their is one) and on to the feature.

So , the problems you may have with how things were run please don't blame Thunder Mountain or the officals. Thunder Mountain runs a good show every week.

That is why I mentioned both the series and the track. I am well aware of how the ULMS operates. Chris and his crew really need to get their act together when it comes to the issues that I mentioned.

Really in my mind Bo and his guys did nothing wrong Friday. They prepared a great surface then handed over the reigns. And he is not responsible for the fact that some of the regulars there are incapable of driving.

The only reason I won't be back there has nothing to do with the track it's strictly because of some of the drivers that race there.

You talking about the 15L that should have been charged with a caution twice?

From my experience with ULMS at Tri-City, they have a couple of officials, but not scorers or a flagman.  RUSH does, but ULMS does not.  The calls on restarts were probably those of the Thunder Mountain regular officials such as their flagman & scorers!!   Does Thunder Mountain have transponders and raceceivers??   If not, then the scoring was probably done the old fashion way, by hand.

GOOD RACING!!!

Walt

Walt, yes Thunder has transponders & raceceivers. ULMS had their own flagman. He had on a red shirt and wore white pants. I can not say about scorers. And nothing at Thunder Mountain is done the old fashioned way except track prep.

Jason's 1st screw up should have put him to the rear and his 2nd was a bad call too. That car body was all tore up in his last crash!

I'm taking neither of you two guys have ever been to Eldora for the Dream (not so bad) or World??

Multiply the drunks X 1000 and add in various levels of nudity by both men and women and the entertainment from watching those fools alone is worth the price of admission.
