Flash- it's cool. I really don't know. The whole reason I do this race is because I grew up at PPMS with my Dad from 1979-2012. I'm lucky enough to say just about every Saturday night during the summer I was with him there. I never thought the track could be sold so quickly after he passed. Always thought it was just rumors. So we shall see.

But to answer the question, I really don't know if it would feel the same to me and my family doing it at a different track. Of course the race is amazing but the whole point of doing it is to remember my Dad at the track he loved. I guess if we get to that point I'd have to sit down with my family and the sponsors and see how everyone feels. But I'm also sure his memory could be honored at another venue as well doing something he loved. Tough call I hopefully won't have to make.

Vince, you were very lucky to have that connection with your Dad, that is something special. You honor him well. If the race were to be held at another track i feel nothing could change all the times you spent with him doing what you and him loved, racing. If the tracks change it will still be something that you can still carry on to honor him. Your Dad is very proud of you. And again Thank You for all your hard work and all others involved on putting on a great show.

And just want to say again- Wayne Carbo. What a thrill watching him on the high line during the B main then going from 21st to 3rd. Back to back hard charger awards for him. Unreal brass.

Thanks again Vince for all you do to have this race, This has really grown into the race of the year, I can't even explain the feeling I had watching my son win the biggest race of the year. we had to rearrange the trophy in the garage to put that one front and center!!

W.O.T. 3WIDE, i think you better add more space in the garage, the way he is going there will be more BIG trophy"s next to this one.
