Good luck with the scale issue, but the tire stuff may have some legs

Ask Lernerville how they made out when they were taken to court after they DQ'd a driver that won the feature for being light on the scales that weren't inspected and certified according to State law for someone getting paid by the results of a scale.
Don't know the Ohio laws but i'm guessing they're close to the same.

What about the families and their kids that race karts where tire juicing/prepping has been a very common and accepted practice??

Accepted not accepted I don't think is the point here. $16.5 MILLION DOLLARS?????? Are these guys on crack, well bloomer is included so, that is outrageous. Nobody was killed or lost limbs. If you want to sue, get you money back and move on. It was illegal end of story. if the lab messed up they are human too. Sad thing is that they will probably win and racing will get more out of hand at the tracks that stay open and others will just shut the doors for fear of the same. Our court system is ruining this country, a long with a lot more but damn

Wait until this issue is further litigated or regulated due to the dust inhaled on these dry-slick hellholes that also contains bit of rubber (prepped with carcinogens, of course), petroleum products and other petrochemicals.
Wait until tracks have to do particulate monitoring during every event.

If you know you are right, I see no reason not to pursue getting the facts straight. I certainly have seen track scales vary, when I know for certain what the car on them weighs.
I know the tech inspection of cars is not what it should be.

While I do feel a scale in this case should be certified, it also was still in place when everyone showed up, and I doubt anyone had a problem. A once a year inspection doesn't mean that scale is still spot on 11 months later.
I think this is more of a scare tactic than anything, like who can bring the biggest knife to a gun fight. If it was a reasonable amount, I don't think many people would see issue, but this is just absurd, and I wouldn't be surprised if other sanctioning bodies or, tracks tell them they are not welcome.
Look at the NASCAR teams that were proven to have cheated, they haven't lost any sales, still keep their big name sponsors and life goes on. The "thought" that any of these drivers may have worked outside of the rules will be long gone, but the bad taste left behind from going to this extend will be what people will remember.

Most rules read "track scale pounds", a wise man would verify how many "track scale pounds" they weigh each day, @ each track.
'Someone' will likely be retaliated against for the legal suit with a "suspicion of illegal substance" test..... if he ever races with WRG again.

If Bloomquist is prevented by the WRG from racing with them again, will it spell the end of the WRG or will fall arrive and end Bloomquiest's Bloom?
Will fans quit going to WRG races because they cannot see him race? Have fans quit going to WRG races because Kinser is not racing?
If there's no sprint racing and the big stuff is late models with a decision to either go to a race with or without Bloomquist racing, i'll pick go to watch Scott race every time regardless of price. He's that good he's worth going to watch. If I have to pick because there's not a sprint race available to go watch and it's between paying high dollar without Bloomquist in the race, I'll pick a local late model race to go see instead. To me Bloomquist is just that good, win or loose he makes it look effortless and just the way it is or turned out, because he's that good.
ps, I just noticed Buttbeak lists their gender as female. I see nothing wrong with that and think it's great a female appears to have a useful knowledge of racing, way beyond anything I could ever hope to have.
My feelings are it doesn't matter what you are, male, female or something some odd homophobic low life on here thinks your are or thinks about you, if your fast on the track or know how what your racing needs to work, needs to be used and good at what you do, that's nuff.
After all the favorite movie of all time for many who read on here "Around the World in 80 days", was about a race.

Dirt. Your right about the kart racers. My son only raced karts 2 yrs. Doping tires was common. We did not and got out.
If anyone thinks the new breed and new racers of today which came from kart racing do not understand how to prep tires for how they need to be used on a particular track on a given day, there fooling themselves and are back in the ancient past.
The knowledge required to know how to use prep it far beyond the setup of anything raced, no matter how complicated the chassis is of what your racing.
