Don't know why everyone gets so worked up over this stuff. I don't care if Scott Bloomquist wants to run hummingbird (I know he's not, it's just an example. Calm down) and I don't care if some no name in a leaf spring car wants to try to get in the world at Eldora. If you want to decide where and when a car/driver races, there are plenty for sale out there.

You got guys like maxi pad blair who doesnt run any big events unless their at his cherry picking tracks he is almost guaranteed to win at...then you got guys like the legend who doesnt have a chance in hell to win(let alone make a race) at big events that he goes too. So there are both ends of the spectrum...you guys decide whats right and wrong.

Another theory: firecracker weekend, there's a lot more racing left on his schedule. Charlotte weekend, the season's over and if you have enough left over why not go? Won enough since July to pay for it I'm sure.
Makes good sense. Thank you for obliging me, gentlemen.

I don't think there is a right or wrong, as a fan of many of our local drivers I'm glad they're representing western pa at any and all touring shows that they go to. I give the legend a lot of credit for trying to make the big shows, he's racing against the best of the best at the Firecracker, the Pittsburgher, Eldora and wherever else he decides to go. I don't think it's all that easy to "cherry pick" any western pa races. We have a lot of really good talent across most of the classes here, the weekly competition level is pretty high in my opinion.
