Fosnaught you guys were not happy at all when you got the motor deal rammed down your throat. I enjoyed watching you guys drive thru the field. Can you tell me you get that same feeling today with the crate motor under your right foot, that you no if you lift your going to lose car lenghts to that guy your trying to pass. So there you have it, another team that was out there, a good team that got out. Why ??? cost and rule changes. True or Not ???

You're right, I wasn't happy with the crate deal but you know what I did??? I wanted to race so I sucked it up, found sponsorship, bought a crate engine and raced with it. I won 3 features at Marion Center against open engines, won one at Lernerville, was a front runner in every race I ran with my car, started dead last in the B feature against some tough competition at mercer in the little guy nationals race and finished 2nd. Between both the A and B features that day, I turned the 3rd fastest lap. So I'd have to say I'm pretty happy with the engine and what we as a team can do with it.

Track conditions between the A and B were not even comparable.

yes you are right. It was tackier in the B feature. Hence my point that it's possible to pass cars with a crate engine and that the 604 can compete. Something this guy keeps saying isn't feasible.

Good for you Jim I still think they suck & you were way faster with your old worn out motor.

Thanks...I guess?!? Not sure if that was a compliment or not. And I've never had an "old, worn out" engine. They were always freshened up in the offseason. You say I was way faster...have you compared times from 2015 when I was running a 358?? Track conditions made a difference but from what I saw my times this year were a few tenths faster than in 2015. But hey, you think crates suck and you're entitled to you opinion.
