I can't believe all these tracks haven't adopted a participation trophy format for all these cry baby participants in todays racing community...

Most tracks have moved towards participation trophy's by increasing the number of classes.  More classes equals more chances for a trophy.  It's one of the main hooks to getting kids into kart racing.   Fewer and fewer are interested in racing to see how good they can do.  Though the goal of all racing should be to be first, more and more are in it just for a trophy.  Those are also the same people who get in and don't stay more then a few years.  The racers who are in it to see how good they can be or to do there best no matter what limits are on them, are the racers who keep the sport going.   Too many tracks of today cater to people who are there to acquire a trophy, instead of catering to racers.

 

If you want to start some talk on here, start naming people who got in and got out after getting a couple of trophy's.  They may still be involved in the business of racing, but they were not racers or they'd still be racing.  And yes it's some of the so called big local names thrown about on here as racing hero's.

 

Name someone who fits into the last paragraph I wrote and you'll remove some of the boredom from this board.  I'm sure not going to name any name, i get beat up enough on here talking about my interest in how race cars work.

That's funny Sparkler ! ... The part about " asking for a job and was laughed at " is Fake news ..

 He did ask for professional Carpenter's on this site every year of every year as its obvious why ! .. (" $14 per hour potential to make 100 Grand " LOL) In 2009 when everyone was slow I Did sent him a resume and pay requirement's ( before I  understood who he really was ) and he didn't laugh at me ... He didn't even respond or thank me for taking the time to send it .. So that's why I think he is a dush bag .. and he most definitely is .. Maybe he did laugh but not in my face .. and he didn't even have the decency to thank a racestud member for sending it to him .. So that is why I get on his shit ! LOL .. not to mention he has the skill level of an Apprentice but sells lots of it and I have complimented him on that part .

What is true is  the story  of him bringing his girlfriend to the Pittsburgher and well she Partied with allot of guys there except him and I even mentioned it might be why he non stop talks about penisses ... But he said no " he was going to break up with her anyways"
