Port Royal wasn't a non points race. Maybe you should do some research instead of going off second hand rumors and being wrong all of the time.

Sharon was changed to a non points race midway through the event due to poor track conditions. They decided to award everyone 100 show up points. That wasn't pre planned. That has nothing to due with port which was surely more racy and it wasn't scrapped as a points race. Just Sharon due to the track coming apart.

Port Royal was a Lucas point race. It was originally supposed to be a weekly points race for their regulars, too, but they scrapped that. You should probably learn to read.

Yea my bad I thought I saw somewhere that they made it a non points deal. I don't live and breathe forums as others do. Go ahead beat me up I need a good laugh
