I see Sharon has already cancelled. Will anyone on Western PA be able to race tonight?

The only places around I see to go watch a race is Port Royal, 70's and no rain in the forecast or Lincoln.

Add Fremont and Lawrenceburgh to the list.  Atomic just posted they have no power and to stay tuned for what's going on.

Just checked their website about 10 minutes ago and nothing. But with this kind of day there was no way they were going to run!!

Walt, try signing up for Rainout at tracks and you'll get notified usually early if there's a rainout.  The only bad thing about it is tracks like PPMS and a few others abuse Rainout and you have to put up with them using it for advertising which hits your phone with needless messages.  The tracks which in my opinion abuse Rainout, are also tracks I go to only as a last resort place to watch racing.

At age 77 I don't travel all that much anymore to worry about rainouts except for column info!!!  So not really a need to sign up.  And BTW...May be raining here but I just had an email from a long time friend in Denver and it is SNOWING there!!

GOOD RACING TO ALL

Ppms could have ran today. Sun was out from 2:00 on, drying out the track. Almost 80 degrees

I don't know man. That's a big track with new clay. Even if they did get it run in it probably would have started peeling in the corners. When it gets chunky like that cars get tore up.

Did you see what happens when it rains with new clay?? If not go take a look at sharons lucas race and why only 7 cars finished the feature! Besides ppms has like what 2 or 3 cars total ever that run the track in. They dont have the equipment like other tracks do and its a huge track to prep.

Speed bumps. LOL

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.
