Since they shortened Golden Isles and WVMS closed, PPMS might be the biggest, fastest track the Lucas series runs on.

Port Royal, Knoxville ?

It's a touch bigger than Port Royal and about the same size as Knoxville, but way more banked than either.

I think if you look at reported average speeds for Sprints, PPMS is the current fastest track.  Average speed reported is higher then the Port, Grove, Knoxville and Eldora.  I don't think you'll find a dirt track anywhere with a higher reported average speed.  I think if another track can lay claim to being faster depends on the accuracy of given track sizes.  How do you know any track size reported by the track and others is accurate?

What is the claim now for :PPMS?  Isn't it something like 148+ average speed?

I think you can find the size of all these tracks on mapquest.  I am sure Selinsgrove is the largest speedway in Pa.

I don't recall what race. Jack Lentz was in the pits at PPMS with the challenger pace truck. We were bullshitting and they were lining up the SLM feature. I asked if he would take my kid with him to ride around the track, which you couldn't wipe the smile off his face, seeing all those SLM out the back window he was on cloud 9. Anyhow, Jack rode around the racing groove and I asked him just how big this place is. He clicked his odometer and thru the center of the track just past the flagstand  it clicked 6/10 of a mile. Funny thing was the front straightaway was  really not a straight away at all. Just a big radius.
