Sarver, PA (June 2, 2017) The Arctic Cat All Star Sprints headlined a fantastic night of racing at The Action Track on Friday night as Logan Wagner collected his first ever victory with the All Stars, leading from green to checkers in the 30 lap, $5,000 to win feature event, besting a stout, 42 car field in the process.

In other action, Rocky Kugel put a 20 car field of RUSH Sportsman Modifieds behind him and held off a hard charging Kole Holden in the latter stages to win his third straight feature at Lernerville.  The Allegheny Sprint tour for 305 Sprints made their inaugural visit with a field of 14 cars on hand, and when the checkered flag fell, Drew Ritchey found himself standing in Terry Bowser Excavating Victory Lane.

Track was excellent. Nice field of sprint cars. Logan Wagner is the real deal. The kid can hustle a car.

Just one major negative. Don't hold the fans who came to see the All Stars hostage. The headline event should never follow two support features of 305 sprints and crate modifieds. I can live with the 305 feature first because it filled the gap between the B main and feature, but there is absolutely no reason to run the modifieds before the ASCOC.

I have another negative.  The website had racing starting at 7:30, with hot laps and time trials being done before that.  Racing didn't start until almost 8:30.  Does anybody know why the show was late getting started?

On the positive side the track was fast and had multiple grooves, nice field of cars, and the racing was good.

I'm so glad I didn't go. When I found out they ran the junk mods before the all Stars I knew right then it was a cluster F***.

Yeah, screw seeing a great race! I'm not sitting through a division I happen to not enjoy for 20 minutes. I swear some of you guys are handicapped.

Dog, there's a right way and a wrong way to do it. Shit like that is designed to keep people there longer in order to sell more food and drinks. That's right out of the Jack Lentz/ Miley book.

You were never hostage. You could have left at any time. You didn't even have to show up at all.

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

I enjoyed the Rush Mod race as I do all of the divisions, the only problem is that it's hard to get out of Lernerville when everybody leaves at the same time, especially when you're turning left on 356 out of the parking lot. Very minor gripe. It was a great night of racing, track was great, excellent crowd, big 50/50, can't think of anywhere else I would rather have spent a Friday evening.

While there may be some legitimate complaints about PPMS, running the headlining division last is not one of them.

Imo I think they should always run the main event last. If you don't like it don't come back. I think it's cool how the pits are open after every race night. It gives the fans a chance to see up close pretty big names. The track last night was in excellent shape. Racey from top to bottom. It was nice also nice to see a fairly local guy come out on top.

And there is also something called respect.  The speedway/sanctioning body should respect those who came to see their drviers and run the headlingin division first so that their teams and fans can get home or to a motel at a reasonable hour since they have a show at Mercer tonight.

How many people were there to watch junk mods? Got any guess as to a percentage? I'd say less than 5%

I'm a miserable prick, and I can't even come close to the misery you guys produce. Relax and enjoy life a little, it'll be over before you know it.

So, if there was a survey done in the stands asking people which they'd rather see first, junk mods or the All Stars. How do you think it would have went?

You didn't even go! My point is you're happy to miss out on a great sprint race because you couldn't bear sitting through a 20 minute support class feature. That's silly

I didn't go due to illness.... I'm glad I didn't though. 11:30 to finish a show is a little late by today's standards. People getting up for work, late for kids etc. It's not really fan friendly. Not starting til 8:30 is inexcusable.
Taking any page from the Lentz/Miley book is a mistake
Bottom line, let's hope we aren't seeing the best track take the wrong course.

First, it was the All Stars decision to run their feature last.  They're the headliner, they set the agenda.  The other option to running support features first was to have a 20-30 minute intermission like they'll do at Mercer tonight and some of you miserable, entitled keyboard cowboys will bitch about that as well.  The weather was perfect, it's the weekend, yet you bitch and bitch and bitch.

Have you ever been to a concert when the headliner plays first?  Never happens.  Kenny Chesney plays last.  JV always plays before varsity.  Go to the Improve, the local guy always opens for the headliner.  Does the opening act suck sometimes?  Absolutely, but you're at a race track, hopefully with family or friends if your miserable self has any, yet you bitch and bitch and bitch.

If the worst thing that happens in your life on any given day is you "get held hostage" for 20-30 minutes for a support division or an intermission, you really need to shut the f**k up and realize how blessed your life is.

Oh, I don't really think anybody is miserable or has a bad life here. I'm saying it should've been done differently and I'm glad I didn't go. No misery here! Now, if they continue to run things in a less than desirable way they'll end up pissing off the fans like the Miley's did. Nobody wants that. My views are clearly stated without misery.

Have a miserable day!
