For those that are not connected via social media, Fab4 Racing is canceled for tonight.

Tomorrow's forecast is much more promising, please support local racing at one of the area tracks.  Sharon, PPMS, Mercer and Marion Center would all greatly appreciate your attendance tomorrow night!

I always thought the Blaney memorial race should be 2 classes. Big Block mods and Sprint cars. Does anyone have one of Lou's old sprint cars or modifieds ?

Was a pretty good chance of storms all night but the weather changed course. Most tracks that cancel at the mere mention of a raindrop do so because they can barely afford to stay open and are run by terrible owners and promoters but Lernerville gets the benefit of the doubt here. They just got unlucky with this call.

Who wants an autograph?

Rumor from the track is they sold 4000 tickets plus it's $10 to park. So its a HUGE $$$ compared to racing. Good for them. The tracks need to hold events like this to get new people to the place that may have never knew it was there. Offer a promotion like $5 off a ticket or something to get them to come back.

Agreed. Supposedly the first 3500 people paid $50 each for this then they did some discounts and got even more. Plus parking. Do the math. That probably is the most money they'll make in one night all year.

I always thought the Blaney memorial should be 2 classes..............WAS A COMMENT,  WTF A HOLE, then I asked if anyone has restored any of his old cars, like the crash bros sprint cars he drove or one of his big block modifieds.  Some of you guys read stuff and make knee jerk comments. So instead of jerking your knee move up and squeeze your balls real tight. I get so sick and tired of hearing the personal people bashing. I no you wouldn't have the nuts to say it to my face, and I also realize your going to be the brave a-hole that will have a comment and I should just delete this rant. Have a nice day. Problem is when I cool down I will just laugh in your face anyhow. The pits used to have some disagreements among drivers and things got settle sometimes with a few punches and shoves. If someone did that today the police would be called and someone hauled off in handcuffs. So you be brave behind your keyboard you under the bridge troll.

Would you rather they ran, dropped the green on the first feature and then got rained out? "Sorry folks, night's over, but we'll double up on the features next week. Thanks for buying your tickets."

Imagine all the "hostages" with 4 divisions of double features. We'd have to call out the national guard to free them all.

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

Lernerville runs when no one else in the area does, but I can't remember the last time they rain checked. Don Martin may have still been running the show. How often do they run and not get at least 3 features in? So they missed the call this week? Their record is exceptional.
