Got to give them an A+ for trying to hype this race up. Too bad the fans will be the ones who lose and nobody shows up.

All drivers that have been advertised for the ULTIMATE race at PPMS have confirmed with the ULTIMATE NE Director that they will be there this Saturday night.  We will not post them unless we have confirmation.  Drivers that say they might be there, do not get posted.

Wow that's interesting.  I went to the PPMS site and looked at their advertisement for the race in both their "Home" area and the "Schedule".  I was not able to find any drivers advertised as being there anywhere on the PPMS website.

 

This is really interesting now.  I went to   http://www.ultimates...com/NEHome.html

 

Can't find any advertisement there either about what drivers will be at PPMS.

 

 

Would you post the list of who has confirmed for a dumb fan who can't find it? 

 

 

edit:  Mercers got a regular show and fireworks for $14.  I think even late model fans will need a reason to skip Mercer and go watch at PPMS for $25.

Can someone tell me why Jared miley's name is not on that list ? I can't figure out why some guys are not listed. Especially if you plan on running the pittsburgher. I see the 22 car that finished 3rd at lernerville is in town I'm sure his plans are to be there.

eriez has the best racing of any track in the tri-state area.....don't even remotely compare it to mercer.......even beats lernerbille anymore.

. Were you watching the same race everyone else was ?? I like Jared and I'm not bashing him in any way , but Alex Ferree being put back to the rear 3 times surely had a impact on him finishing 3rd 2 flats and docked after the one restart

I do believe by the rules if you go into the pits, you go to the rear of the field. I do believe the first time Alex was in the pits, he was put ahead of the lapped cars. But really he should have been put to the rear. I am sure Mileys brought this to the attention of the scorers after the first time! I do believe Alex was faster than Jared. But if Alex would have gotten to Jared would he have been able to pass him without getting another bent up rear quarter and flat tire?

The #13 lapper slammed Alex and got in his way every time every chance he got. When you're that slow the primary goal should be to stay out of the way.

Alex had bad luck. Jared did not, and he won by 5 seconds.

Once in the lead and in the preferred groove, Jared turned the fastest lap times on almost every lap to the end. The illusion that Alex was faster was because he was passing cars coming from the tail.
