I've read it's none of my business where he runs. But, where should he run that gets him the rub that gets him to the next level?

he openly says you pay for his tires, he will come.........seen it a bunch of times........let's see, stateline and eriez both pay way better than the tracks south. so saturday he wins 1500, and 800 in crate. sunday wins 1500 in lm, and 2000 in crate. 5,800..........yep, i'd say blair's are alot smarter than some of you give them credit. and he does this weekly.......they make more than any slm driver in pa by years end, hands down......somebody should get this kid, he is beyond woo or lucas material....

Never said Blair's couldn't afford an XR-1, just that it takes money to buy one. And that high cost is killing Late Model fields nowadays!! Why do you think John Moillick parked his Late Model and went to a Modified?? He told me he just couldn't afford to update his equipment to make it competitive. And just ten minutes before I talked with John, another top Late Model driver told me the cost of all the high tech in the Late Models is killing the class!! So take it for what its worth!!
GOOD RACING!!!

If someone doesn't take a hard look at there rule book beyond the engine compartment Walt, the costs of running a competitive crate car is going to be out of hand also. It's been said a XR-1 goes for 38 to 42 K, at 700 to win, it would take 2 years and every checkered flag just to justify the cost of one. Crazy.

The three brightest LM stars to come out of area in the last 5 to 10 years or so are Max, Michael Norris and Jared Miley. Seeing all of them several times in the last few years, there is no questioning their ability. Although Max has made the trip to Charlotte the last couple years, with some degree of success, he generally stays at two or three tracks up north throughout the summer. Michael, who I believe is several years younger, and less expierenced then the other two, goes to Florida every year, and went to Eldora last year and set fast time for The World. Jared runs a completly regional schedule now. You will see him anywhere in PA, OH, WV or NY on any given weekend. There are a lot of things that enter into where a team chooses to race, not the least of which is financial. Racing, at least to some degree is a business and teams have every right to choose where they race. I believe that Max is now in his prime, and is as talented as the other two. If he doesn't start to venture out some soon, at least regionally, he will never get the credit he deserves, or reach his full potential.

I thought Gregg had been around a little longer and was older than the others. If not than he certainly could be added to the list

WoO, World of Outlaws, Outlaws and Strangers in town
For years it's been an accepted part of racing that when an Outlaw, stranger or newcomer comes to town it's to steel the locals money and fans accept it because it makes their night at the races exciting or at least a little more interesting. You see it every week somewhere it the area.
Fans should have no bitch about it and the same goes if the Outlaw quality expected to win and take the locals money, lives in town.
I watched him race last Sunday. I was glad he was there to watch and glad Eriez promoters provided a place to go watch. I didn't stay for the Super Late feature figured from what I saw in the heats he was going to win and left early. Nice to read on here in post #23 a result from Eriez. Though I didn't stay I was still interested to see if he did win. I've never been able to figure out how to find results from Eriez on the web.
It appears he's found the same nitch for racing Sprint racers out east found many years ago and it's the sole reason for the amount of quality racing there is out east. Maybe it could expand for Super Lates in this area and I think it would be good for over all racing in this area. The nitch found out east by Sprint racers is why travel when you can race three, four and even five nights a week close to home for "DECENT PAYOUT". The Blair's seem to have found their nitch of decent payout without traveling far. The only thing stopping other racers from finding it is the over all purse.

The Blairs have been towing Up to lake erie how many years now ? There happy doing what there doing and the wins definitely show that. I do disagree with the statement about them having someone buy tires for them. He just recently won with the WoO. There is a lot of young quality talent in western pa SLM racing, right know I think Satterlee has the edge on everyone. The rest are right on his heels and I sure would not want to pick one to win.

If he is so great, why do other drivers go to "donate" money to him??? Why not go where everyone else is pretty close, would make running a race more interesting than knowing he's going to win. As dirt student said, he left before the lm feature because he figured he would win, or maybe his junior license was going to expire!!!

Look at news, scroll to end of story. Heat and feature finishes are listed there. If you follow them on Facebook, the winners are posted minutes after the race.

He runs Marion Center a bit. If he ran second last year then I don't see why he'd skip it to pick up his $1,500 at Stateline.
