Well, I see huck has a 11 point lead going into the last night of point racing. I no, I no, many are going to say the lack of cars. He backed in. I give the guy credit. He has quality equipment there is no question about that. It's not of his doing that the SLM have dwindled at PPMS. I say give it hell Saturday huck and I hope you come out with the title. I really think if the guy could devote the time behind the wheel he could race with most.

Well, considering only the top 3 cars showed up every week, even a guy who can't even finish top 5 can easily win the championship.  It's sad.  Hell, even the crates are the same way!  The car who wins the championship was the only guy who showed up all season!  Pretty bad when the track has gotten to the point where you can't even get a decent following of cars, or in the case of the late models, a following of quality cars.

Yes, both the 69 and 93X won the title due to showing up every week or in Hodgkiss case everytime they ran supers. Unlike Hodgkiss, 93x actually ran good all year and finished upfront pretty much every week so he still had a good chance to win the title even if the 12 didn't miss 2 points nights. Hodgkiss winning the title is equal to a participation trophy, he won it by default. If you look through every super champ in history, he is easily the worst on that list.

Ya, it would have been nice to see what would have happened between the 12 and the 93x.  Hodgkiss winning the title is nothing but a joke.  Wonder how many times he'll mention how much he loves talking about male genitalia in his "championship" speech.  The worst performance ever by a champion, and probably the least deserving and least respected champion ever.

He paid the same price to get in as everybody else and devotes a lot of time working on the car just like everybody else. So it's not his fault he won the championship by default it's the other drivers who decided not to show up and try to win the championship.

Jon didn't do anything wrong by showing up every race. That alone is more racing than he's done in recent years. I doubt that it was his goal at the beginning of the year to win points. The disappointment isn't him, it's that no one else could make the commitment to beat him. Similar issues at almost every track. Hell, even Lernerville only had a couple cars race the full schedule.

The fastest car has the best chance of winning a race.

The fastest car who has the best attendance has the best chance of winning points.

That's the way it is and always has been.  If he wins the points at PPMS he was the fastest car with good enough attendance to win it and 100% deserves the championship and to be put down in the record books as a season champion.

If you search the records at Lernerville or anywhere else you will find the fastest car with good enough attendance wins almost every year.  If he wins the points, he did what was necessary to win THE CHAMPIONSHIP.  He will have beat out every other car who ever ran in the series for the points, no matter who they were.

Remember there were a couple of years at Lernerville when Ed Lynch, Jr. was by far the fastest car and the biggest winner. However, he did not win the points due missed races for trips to Knoxville & Eldora!!  Clearly, racing in those big races was much more important to Lynch than the points

GOOD RACING TO ALL

Walt

I don't think anybody in this Thread  passed the legend on the track in a car!

He earned the most points and deserves the title !

the part that may drive him crazy is that he can thank all the Leftists from the Sodomy party that have destroyed the Economy/ healthcare etc etc  and as much of America as they could to get the field paired down for him to win it !

But if the Mileys don't cancel the front straight banquet all together next year .. he will have that Trophy for the rest of his life ... and no bashing ( Even though he would bash to hell and back someone else ) can take that away from him ..  If Hillary had won ... he may have been able to win the world 100 in a couple of years !

3.8% growth in the last quarter.. Has not happened in any quarter or any year for more than 8 years ! In fact the Muslim Jihad administration set a new world record for American slow growth per quarter and per year and any way you want to look at it including 95 million people OUT of the work force!.

I think I can speak for the champ ( Yet to be ! ) with this statement ( and you know how he like his politics ) :

How did that Obama thing work out for you coal people ! and your electric bills ! and your health care!  and  your football teams  ! and Mike Obama in your little girls bathrooms at school!

The shame isn't that he can win the title running in the back of the field .. its much worse than that!

Huck being in small business is a uphill battle with goverment, what happened to our company during the last 8 yrs of Washington politics I could have sponsored a fool blown SLM for a year easily. 35 people got furloughed because of Obama politics.

He'll be telling the stories tonight. Good for him, as busy as the guy is, making all the shows was a effort also.
