ENGINE CLAIM RULE, man I haven't that rule in ages. That is going back some but all in all it kept it from getting out of control. There was saying if you claimed a motor you better find another place to race. I never worried about getting mine claimed it was all stock, but we had fun.

I understand, like I said I'm not from this area but I'm here now and where I'm from you can still tear someone down, claim literally anything on there car but trans and rearend. I mean whatever you claim you also swap. And mods is still big. I mean they just had a $20,000 to win mod race where I'm from. I don't see how it would do anything but help lernerville by adding em. I've never even seen big blocks till I came to lernerville for first time. And just bout all the sportsman guys that I know and talk to are selling there's to switch classes. One is selling both cars. I hate to see it but understand. I finally got told who to talk to bout getting mods there. It wouldn't hurt to try em first few weeks of racing season next year and see what kind of car count they get but who knows.

They are mandated to run a far to small a rear tire for the unlimited engines. Big engines really don't mean much in the class, the small tire rule is what makes them dangerous, way to small to hold the power.

That's not true, the average mod in usmts runs no smaller then 415. The 8" tire don't make em dangerous either. And they ain't heavy, 2400 pounds I didn't think was heavy. They run really close lap time to late models down at batesville and I'm sure they are really close to em at lernerville. Closer then big blocks and sportsman.

"Emod" lap times, at Lernerville, for the whole Stampede weekend were just about the same as the Open Sportsman/Stock cars. They were not as close, to the late model times, as you might think. I just looked through the "Race Monitor" app to verify.

I wasn't sure bout lernerville. I never looked. I didn't think my question n interest would start some stuff that pissed people off. Just kinda thought it would be a good thing and help track as well if they added the class to weekly racing.
Because you're being told all the reasons you're wrong about what you think does not mean anyone is pissed. You've stated that you're not from the Lernerville area, and that's perfectly clear based on your comments. Notice the way Jmfosnaught referred to emods by putting the name in quotes. In this area, if you're referring to modifieds (or mods), it's the northeast style modifieds that have been around for 40+ years. "Emods" have been in this area for 20+ years, so you're not breaking ground by suggesting they run here weekly. There were plenty of tracks than ran them weekly. Now there are not. Maybe the tracks were making too much money off of them and ran out of places to store their cash?

Lernerrville does not need any more classes!!!! They are about the only track around here smart enough to keep their program down to four classes!!! As I have said many times before, we have way too many classes here in western PA!!!!
GOOD RACING TO ALL!!

If things are so great in crate land why is it that no one has went to a crate only format around here?
Why is it the so called "big" crate races around here are always piggybacked to one of the other top divisions special shows?
One would think the way you talk about Vicki, Rush, and the crate divisions they should be able to have stand alone crate shows with SRO crowds. Right???
