When he can lead the World 100 start to finish he doesn't need to run this race. I saw his picture getting interviewed and the big check he is holding was for $4K. I would have thought it would have paid more. Those guys were there on Thursday to practice. Then on Friday they qualified and ran a heat race. Then they come back on Sat. to run the feature. That's a lot of pit passes, tires, etc. for 4 grand to win. Crates are not lates but they are not cheap either. JMO

Very smart move for rumley and davenport, to put in laps on a track that they don't race much under racing conditions throughout the year.. with the new banking and fresh clay it's good for the notebook to race on the track a few weeks before the world finals.. it's business for those guys you think they care about a bunch of keyword pushers like us whether they get called a "cherry picker".. plus if you beat him that'd be cool to say I just finished in front of Superman..

I just don't get it. Max will tow to the world finals and someone just posted he will be going back down to GA in a few weeks. Back in PA. they tow in 1 direction every week and it is brought up all the time as to why he doesn't show up at some of the bigger local races. Yet here they are, 8 to 10 hr. tow for 4000 to win. 2nd against superman is a heck of a run,  there lucky if they even broke even. I just don't get it.

I guarantee you somebody's paying their tire and fuel bill. That is the excuse they always used around here with local races that they didn't have X and they would only show if somebody paid it for him.

It was brought to my attention that what they do is none of our business. So, I don't pay attention to him anymore or buy any TBR merchandise.

This is only the 2nd year i missed out at the Dirt track in Charlotte due to a career change and not enough time to have accrued any paid time off....Wonderful facility "Southern Hospitality" everywhere you go (or atleast everywhere i went)....lot's of things to do in and around Concord during the day long before the racing starts...will definately make it next year only sad part is that's it for dirt track racing until the end of February

Dirt...i like it
