It is with a very heavy heart that I write this report, I was informed today that Six Cylinder  Mr. Ford aka. Paul Krause of the Emig #1 domination of a few years back has passed away from natural causes , Paul was living in Columbus Ohio and had been fighting heart issues for some time and passed last night.

I spent many nights at Emigs garage while he and his guys built a giant killer and set the standard for perfection while winning wherever they would go Paul and his two friends Jimmy Winters and Lou Gentile produced some very extraordinary high standards for others to strive for .

I will be quite sometime before this type of crew will appear again and thanks to my friend Big Bill Emig for allowing them to produce high quality race cars.

Paul you will be missed by many and remembered by many more especially those that tried to out think your genius for making a six cylinder truck engine one of the most successful race motors in my time.

Rest in peace Paul

I didn't know Paul personally, but I worked with Jimmy Winters as an engineer toward the end of the EMIG #1 race days. Jimmy would tell me stories of some of the radical, out of the box things he and Paul would try on those race cars. Looks like quite a few of them must have worked with the amount of wins they racked up. R.I.P. Paul, It is truly my lost never getting to meet you. My condolences to his family and friends.
