That's another thing tracks like TM and Eriez have going for them. They don't have the constraints and can do what they want. IDK what exactly the benefit for Lernerville being with WRG is but when you look various special races and how tracks structure total nightly purses, Stateline having the non sanctioned $8,000 to win LM race this weekend, the Outlaws back this year, and having the all stars. Tracks like that are proof that you can do it on your own with a diverse schedule, good marketing, and rock solid management. Thunder Mountain and Eriez are also solid examples of this.

i love e-mods too......but, as with slm's, they are few and far between anymore. you can hit is right and have the best there that night, but rarely are they all together......about 14 per track. eriez/stateline are going to have very good slm counts this year.....

My opinion is screw WRG.
They need Lernerville more than Lernerville needs them.
They want to play hard ball bring in Lucas Oil, All Stars, USAC, and BRP.
It's my opinion that WRG has been the biggest factor in the decline of Lernerville and for that matter dirt track racing in general.

A few years ago, the All Stars were the step-child, but with the current ownership I think they are rapidly becoming the better sprints series, and should Tony decide to make them the premiere sprint series it will happen. I don't see him looking for a fight with Dirt Mega Corp Inc., so they would have to do something really damaging to the sport for him to try to unseat them. I think they are banking on that too.

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

For a class barely hanging on Lernerville drew 32 Sprint cars for a regular show tonight, and 25 Big Block Mods.

at least 4 BB mods were rush crate mods,  but still a great race.  Matt Williamson is unbeatable at L'ville.

If I understand DIRTCAR rules correctly, the RUSH Crate Modifieds are not legal, to run with the Big Blocks. DIRTCAR has a max displacement of 467 c.i and a minimum of 396 c.i.  Please correct me if I am wrong, but I thought the crate 602's were only 350 c.i.

As for the RUSH Sprints, I also believe they are not legal for DIRTCAR racing. Granted throw a wing on the top and front and they look like any other Sprintcar. I think DIRTCAR rules are magneto igniton only and RUSH Sprints are HEI.

Small blocks motors can run with big blocks, but they're supposed to add weight to be 2650, but its up to the track for weekly stuff.

Looks like Lernerville might pick up a car or two next week because of the deteriorating condition of Williams Grove. Dietrich said he's headed west next Friday because "track prep at the grove can ruin a wet dream".. 😂😂 Also, anybody know what the holdup was for TM starting features so late last night?

Friday's (6-1-18) show @ Lernerville, is an All Star Sprint show.

Saturday's (6-2-18) show @ Sharon is a 3,000 to win Sprint show.

Sunday (6-3-18) the All Star Sprints are @ Bedford Speedway.

I guess there was a serious health emergency in the stands. Required stoppage of race to get rescue truck and emts across the track. Then it took a while for ambulance to arrive. Great field of cars.
