HOMAK PENN OHIO PRO STOCKS HAVE FULL SCHEDULE FROM LABOR DAY WEEKEND THROUGH THE END OF SEPTEMBER!

 

For Immediate Release

August 27, 2018 (Sandy Lake, PA) With rained out events being moved to the end of August and in September, the next five weekends will be full of racing action for the Homak Penn Ohio Pro Stocks beginning with Labor Day weekend.

 

Kicking off the holiday weekend, the Series will travel to Raceway 7 in Conneaut, Ohio on Friday, August 31st for the $1,000 to-win, $150 to start Homak Penn Ohio make-up point event from July 20th.  No racing occurred on the 20th so it will be a completely new show with drivers pulling pills for heat race starting positions.  If over 35 cars participate, a $250 to win B Feature will be added to the schedule.

 

Racing action will continue over the holiday weekend with the Series traveling to Northern Cambria, PA to participate in Dog Hollow Speedway’s Labor Day Special on Sunday, September 2nd.  The Homak Penn Ohio point event will pay $1,000 to-win and $150 to start with a B Feature paying $250 to win if over 35 stocks participate.    

 

The following weekend, the Series will participate in Sharon Speedway’s Apple Fest Nationals.  The two-day event for the Homak Penn Ohio Pro Stocks will kick off on Friday, September 7th with heat races.  Saturday, September 8th will have last chance qualifying races and a 25 lap A Main paying $2,000 to-win.  Not only will the Apple Fest Nat’s winner get a hefty pay check, the driver will automatically qualify for the $10,000 to-win 1st Annual Steel Valley Pro Stock Nationals at Sharon Speedway.

 

On Saturday, September 15th Lernerville Speedway located in Sarver, PA will host the Autumn Motive Fest - Pro Stock Pandemonium $1,000 to-win, $150 to start Homak Penn Ohio Series point event with a B Feature paying $250 to-win if over 35 cars. 

 

The Series will then make up two rained out Memorial events the following weekend with back-to-back races on Friday, September 21st and Saturday, September 22nd.  Thunder Mountain Speedway will host the Scott Winslow Memorial Homak Penn Ohio Series point event on Friday paying $1,500 to-win, $150 to start.  A $500 to-win B Feature will be added to the schedule if over 35 cars participate.  Saturday the Series will travel to PPMS for a point event and the “Wee” Willie White Memorial paying $1,000 to-win, $150 to start and $250 to-win B Feature if over 35 cars.

 

Rounding out the month of September will be the McKean County Raceway $1,000 to-win, $150 to start Homak Penn Ohio Series point event and B Feature paying $250 to-win if over 35 cars. 

 

Plans for an alternative event(s) is in the works to replace the cancelled Eriez Speedway race.  As soon as details are known, information will be shared.
