You don't agree. Don't comment. It's really that simple, or better yet, bring a subject about racing up. Novel idea huh ?
Ds2. Hasn't been around since florida. I'm sure many are waving flags about that. Well, not me. I hope the guy is doing ok. Has he had enough of the insults from people that the only thing they post are insults. I laugh at every dam one of you.

It's annoying to me that virtually every comment from Davey Lee is infused with political content. I avoid it when possible, but sometimes that isn't an option.

As far as DS2, I wish him no I'll will at all. I also appreciate his passion for the sport. But, if he can't stomach some ridicule, then maybe he's just too sensitive.

As my grand ma use to say all the time:  "I'm as well as can be expected for the condition i'm in".

After continual bouts of bronchial infection I busted out my nebulizer and tried some Brovana I had left.

The first time I used it it allowed me to get through the night without using my rescue inhaler.  For what it's worth probably nothing to get a new supply of Brovana paid for by Medicare and my supplement I had to again prove I had copd.  Medicare will not pay for the $1000 a month drug unless you have copd.  You need to provide both a script from your doctor, mechanical lung function test results and doctors notes to get it paid for.  Unfortuniatly for me I was able to provide them and get Brovana.  It and Budesonide have been a so to speak life saver for me.  I think they have allowed my airways to heal or start the mending process after so many bacterial infections.  Basically I had been on only a rescue inhaler which can not be use more often then 4 hours apart.  It only lasted 2.5 hours and I was in total distress coughing etc. for an hour and a half day and night because I had to wait for another rescue treatment.

I'm sure few want to hear about the above but if your old and experience breathing problems get onto nebulizer breathing treatment as soon as you can.  If you catch this new virus it may allow your old fart body to get through it.  Currently I am prescribed Brovana and Budesonide twice a day but I'm getting along fine using Brovana in the morning and Budesonide at night.  I still have my rescue inhaler "albuterol puffer" available but in general don't need it.

No bitching from me just my take on things.  Over the years so many have told me they read on here but never post because of all the assholes on here.  My reply was always I have fun posting and I get enjoyment out of it beyond my wanting to throw out there my ideas to be shot down and learn from it.

Since so many have told me they just read on here after the assholes got on my case when I posted last, I didn't get angry or upset understand how dirty assholes can be, I chose to just look in and read as others do.

I quickly found out it really didn't matter if I posted or not on here and at times this place went days without a post.  I'm not saying this is my last post or i'm fed up with the place or anything like that.  I found out it didn't matter to me anymore if I posted or not and I chose to just read like most I talk to.

Simply put I've learned it doesn't matter to me if I post or not on here and it's easier on me if I don't.  No problem, no nothing after not posting for awhile it just doesn't matter.  I think i've gained some friends on here and I won't miss you because I will still read on here.  OH YES!  :)  It's not my fault Sportsman closed.  Great food, reasonable price but the place was a dump in the pits, the rest rooms and the viewing was so far back I don't know why anyone would ever got there or race there with their choppy soft track, lousy pits, crummy flagging and zip for emergency equipment.  And yes I did go there often after Slippery Rock and I didn't feel like driving all the way to Tri City.  The stands were empty for a reason and it was not my fault.  We went there many years after racing at Pine Hill.  Nice people as with all tracks I go to but at the end a shit hole for both fans and drivers.  You may remember it differently.

I can't wait for Tri City to reopen.  No matter who owned it in the past we were always treated first class there in both the pits and the stands.  Maybe Jim will be the announcer there and I can have the pleasure of listening to him two night a week?  All I have to remember is to get their early to be able to put my seat in front of the last light pole towards turn one.  :)

Let the slings and arrows commence, it really doesn't matter I'm not angered or upset by them I just don't need to answer them anymore.  :)

I'll end by saying there's no need to say if it didn't bother you why did you write this long post?

answer:  It's just what I do.  :)

Ds2, glad to hear from you. Hang in there buddy. Stay away until this dam virus passes. Looks like I have to go in for another surgery, I never thought walking would be such a task. Hoping to make it back in time for the 50th anniversary of the world 100. 1 day, 1 step at a time.

Glad you are getting along fine. I wish nothing negative on anyone no matter how abrasive I can be.

I liked going to Knox before they closed in the late 90s, early 00's. They had good fields of Big Blocks and 410's. It was a relaxed atmosphere and I thought it was a great place to watch the races. Went back about five years ago for something to do on a Sunday evening, and was completely disappointed. The place had lost all of it's charm, mostly because of the program and the fact that none of the divisions were getting very many cars. Real sad.

I had to sign on to say thank you Sir.

And while i'm at it I'll add a long story since these old years have so many stories.

I spent a lot of time in school for work in Atlanta.  What I learned about being down south and spending time with so many racing internet friends in person was unlike up north when someone addresses you as Sir, you don't need to duck expecting a right cross to be the next thing you experience.  Sir my friend down south in the country with real southern folk is addressing you with respect whether your entitled to it or not.

Thank you Sir for your concern.

And since my racing heart is and always be first with kart racing here's a recent kart racing video from Daytona to enjoy:

I grew up in Jacksonville Florida and still my best friend of over 35 years from their and I learned Sir when I watched Wayne shugart and red farmer and I can’t remember the rest at Jax speedway !
Saw
The Tiny Lund memorial there and banged on the press box door until Buddy Baker came out and handed me a signed #15 Norris industries ford picture .
Skull
Here is what Nancy expects to get in the corona virus bill
I’m sure you saw it on
Harvey Weinstein’s channel 2
Or Jeffery Epstein’s channel 4
Or Rupauls channel 11
But here goes anyway
Post office bailout
New emissions mandates for airlines
Require greenhouse stats for individual flights
Student loan forgiveness
Report corporate pay stats by race
New corporate board diversity rules
Early voting requirements in all states
Same day voter registration
Subsidies for newspaper pensions
Major expansion of collective bargaining for federal workers
Risk limiting audits of election results ???
Expansion of minority banks and credit unions ....whatever that means
2020 census reforms relation to Citizenship question .... we all know what that means ,
Internet voter registration ....... welcome Russia and China to our elections for real this time !
Expansion of solar and wind tax credits

This should cure all Corona virus cases ... even the common cold Corona virus!

I honestly don't understand why someone would view a thread with a topic of "The Politics of Racing," started by DavyLee2, and then complain that the thread is about politics. I see it as inbounds, because it is about the impact of government on racing.

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

Hell, by that logic, I could inject religion into every aspect of local dirt track racing. I've seen where people have made threads on here about other topics and people have bitched like I did that this was a racing forum. Not arguing, just making a point. And it would help his cause if he would make his points without rambling and filibustering somewhat rather incoherently.

Wouldnt help for people who demand to know nothing and expect to just live free and Not be bothered by actually participating in being free .
And again skull the part you think is incoherent is well understood by the person its directed at .

On the lighter side
Saw a picture of Trump holding a bill he signed but it says
Racecars can now be deducted as a dependent on their taxes
And his signature under it
For some reason I cant upload any pictures on here lately
Quote
The server returned an error during upload
Whatever that means

Thank you I really appreciate you doing that ! I will talk to you then !

The Same prince of Saudi Arabia that tried to end Fracking back in 2013 by flooding America with cheap oil and lost his ass doing it is at it Again .. This time he is trying to burry Russia !! We don’t need the middleeast Oil any more so the prince is trying to corner the world market of people who do !
Isn’t it great for our gas prices !!
So will turbo blue still be 15 bucks per Gallon at the racetrack .. and in Pa the price is 1 dollar per gallon ... plus tax ....
should make it easier to go further to race or watch !
