STAAR LUBRICANTS AND STAAR LOGISTICS BECOME PRENTING SPONSORS OF THE 8TH ANNUAL ED LABOON MEMORIAL NOW PAYING A RECORD $4,017 TO WIN ON SATURDAY, JUNE 1ST!

April 21, 2019             FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Pittsburgh, PA)… The Laboon Family, Penn Ohio Pro Stock Series and Miley Motor Sports are thrilled to announce that STAAR Lubricants and STAAR Logistics will be presenting sponsors for the upcoming 2019 race.  With this partnership, the 8th annual edition of the race will now pay a record $4,017 to win, $200 to start, still with no entry fees to the racers on Saturday, June 1st at PPMS.

"I began discussing this partnership with the Gordon family a few weeks ago and was very impressed with their services, products and love for racing," stated race promotor Vince Laboon.  "I wanted to grow this race even more in 2019 and STAAR has stepped up to make that happen.  STAAR has been a part of the local and national racing scene for over 30 years and it just seemed like a natural fit."

“I’m excited to become part of the Ed Laboon Memorial," explained Todd Gordon, CEO STAAR Companies.  "STAAR Lubricants Trick Shot currently sponsors the Rick Ware Racing #52 Chevrolet in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and this partnership allows us to grow our brand in the local dirt racing scene as well and I really like that.”

Let me get this straight. It's a pain Ohio Race but yet they're given an extra $100 incentive to the winner if they win at Mercer that night. Am I correct?

If you're asking about Mercer tomorrow, I don't believe it's a Penn-Ohio race. They are using Penn-Ohio rules as many tracks are.
