Debating topics endlessly can change minds
Extreme example
Slavery
But with Crates
They are great for the latemodel prototype class and Sprints because there is an extreme gap in the open motor latemodel and Sprint car motor
I am aposed to mandating you buy one to run a stock car
a Stock is what you race when
YOU DON'T HAVE A POT TO PISS IN
And We could all race together with a simple weight advantage to the crate motor
JMO
But ya the time would be better spent at the school board meetings saving America
But that is really noziating
So this is much easier on the heart and soul in between
And Again
Crate Racing is Spec Motor Racing that people believe the specs are correct because of the expensive bolts

Actually, it took the Civil War to get things moving in the right direction, and then another 100 years to make some signifigant headway. Debating endlessly changes no minds.

And Missouri was forced to hold parts without slavery by an ac5 of Congress around 1840 when they applied for statehood
Your almost 100 years late !
It wasnt until Abraham Lincoln got elected and Democrats saw the end of their free Labor that they started a War over it
Some say it was All about states rights
Ya the right to own people !
Minds were changed from the very beginning and so were laws

The original 13 states ended slavery in the 1700,s

I don't know where you studied history, but slavery didn't end until 1863, when Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation. Many laws have changed since then, but many minds still cling to the same old nonsense, to this day. By the way, it was the Southern Democrats (who are now all Republicans, gee I wonder why?) who were in the vanguard of keeping slavery in place for cheap labor. You do know that Virginia, Maryland, North and South Carolina, and Georgia, were part of the original 13 colonies, then states.

Penn Ohio rules allowed a 200 lb weight break with a 350 and 8 inch tires
And you could have 10 inch tires and get 100 lb break with a 350
Well someone debated and changed some minds and that has been removed
So now a little 350 motor without the $2000 bolts has to weigh the same as an open motor
So I have been debating it ever since along with the idea that making a track Crate only is a bad idea for stock cars
Ps pennsylvania enacted the gradual abolition bill in 1780 that all children born to slaves were born free
And there were none in our state after 1840
You must live in Georgia
So that would make sense

and we learn that the worst democrats are now republicans...nothing like twisting history to favor your own political views.
The Southern Democrats started switching to the Republican Party after the passage of the Civil Rights Act in 1964, and by 2000, the switch was pretty much across the board. No twisting history, just inconvenient facts.

Ok let's get recent history

Go back and re-read your post, you said slavery was abolished in the 1700s in the original thirteen states. That's just a crock of horseshit, anyway you look at it. Slaves were not freed in Pennsylvania until 1847.

and yes your right too: https://en.wikipedia...e_1789-1861.gif

edit: thanks it was a little bit interesting looking it up but unless where headed back to slavery because history repeats itself, who cares?

I know I know Snopes said that Cnn said ....what you said .. but anyways
The debate about Crate Racing will not end until everyone agrees to one form of racing.. And racing will go the way of the people involved in it .. or die.. Crates do have allot of people in Latemodel Prototypes and some other classes that would not be in racing but have also kicked people in the ass that did want to race and will not participate because of it .. So If they dont change their minds about some parts of Crate racing .. they will lose some Valuable Participants in the Sport !
And nobody wants that to happen
