I'm thinking Waynesfield Saturday and Midvale Sunday with my short research, please add to it if you can for us fans

edit:  if you can reference from the pa/ohio line between 80 and Cranberry or from a point or place north and south on the line

410's at Baps Saturday, Newberrytown PA, but their likely to rainout, 4.25 hr's from the line

410's, BOSS and micro's at Waynesfield Saturday, 3.5hrs from the line

Midvale asphalt oval full show both Saturday and Sunday, 1.45 from the line

... where else?  help us out

Dog Hollow, Roaring Knob and Greater Cumberland all had races scheduled per their websites.  But given conditions at those tracks, who knows if they will actually be run.  Cumberland probably would be the most likely to run!!  All supposed to be on Saturday the 12th, but rain is in the forecast, so that makes things that much more iffy!!   I would call first before any lengthy drive!!!

GOOD RACING TO ALL!!

Walt

Cumberland looks like it might be the most Rain free. The Knob and Doghollow, have forecasts of Rain early, and then possibly clearing out in the afternoon.

I-96 Speedway in Lake Odessa Mi, (between Lansing and Grand Rapids) has Ethenol Tour Late models, Great Lakes Super Sprints and Lightning sprints for their finale..Should be some heavy hitters there for the show. Dress warm, 45-50 for a high and lows in the 30's

A little too far for a day trip and the sprints are 360's when Waynesfield has 410's.

edit:  Thanks for the info though.

Looks like a no brainer with the iffy rain out east and Dog Hollow maybe looking for a reason to cancel, for me especially since I ain't got no brains, it will be Waynesfield Saturday especially with it's early start and Midvale Sunday.

Sure looking for something closer but I think that's about it for this weekend.  ... and ???? on that

I kind of like watching at Dog Hollow but with the rain situation, ... it's out.

If I were much younger I would head for Oswego, even though it will never replace Syracuse!!!  Went there about 35 times in 40 years!! Great memories of fun times and good racing!!  Only ones I missed were a couple of times due to family conflicts and a few years when the $$$$ was in short supply.  At 80 I am just staying home this weekend and rest up for the Stampede!!

GOOD RACING TO ALL !!!

Walt

Made it to Baps 26 410s and 41 360s/358s. Sye Lynch and Daren Pifer made the trip from western PA. Daren lost the final transfer spot in the B coming to the flag and Sye was 4th in his heat. Features starting soon.

How was the Midvale show at one of my favorite tracks?  Family commitments kept me from going.

I had a fun time there and the racing was great between crashes.

One feature took so long the start of the race was so long ago the announcer truthfully said he could not remember what happened during the first part of the race.  It was not near as cold as Waynesfield.   I wanted to see the trailer race but left before because I got bored falling asleep during the crash clean ups.  There was so much time spent clearing crashes I actually did fall asleep more then a few times sitting there.
