Look, I think the pill draw thing is stupid, but at least it’s something. Maybe you could pony up some of your money and be a part of the solution? Or is it easier to just complain about something that has little to no effect on you? This might be the killshot to weekly racing.

So basically they want to get you into the track and take your money without you knowing if you are racing for extra money or not.
No, Negative Nancy. It's basically like normal, except there's a chance you're racing for extra money. Or more specifically, put this sticker on your car, and if you finish in the top 10 tonight, there's a 50% chance they'll give you an extra $100.

Say basically you taking a chance just like playing the lottery with a extrrmely smaller pay out if we do win lol
Yes, if the lottery was 50/50 odds and didn't cost anything to play. Then it would be just like that.
Try this example: Ralph Crisanks has a job. He chose this job, understands the pay rate, and knows the amount of money he can earn based on his performance. His boss pays him every Friday. There are 79 other people who have the same basic job as Ralph, but have chosen 1 of 4 types of work offered at this company. No matter which type of work they have chosen, they are willingly working for and earning what they were told in advance that they would earn. At this particular place of business, (and at no other companies in the area that do the exact same business) every payday a lawyer walks in and announces that, through a random process, 20 of the top 40 performers that week will receive an extra $100 on top of the pay they earned. The lawyer gives the boss an extra $100 to the top 10 performers in 2 out of 4 types of work. Should Ralph not work for that company because there's a 50/50 chance the lawyer won't give him an extra $100 on top of his earnings?

It's funny how all the Trumptards talk shit on Obama, welfare and socialism, then essentially want a welfare/socialism setup for the purse at their local racetrack.

So many of you don't get it yet that racing is a show no different then a Broadway show.
The kind gentleman has offered a gift to the performers who participate at the Lernerville show.
It's no different then someone giving to the suggested charities below:
http://www.playbill....n-givingtuesday
All that's needed is a return kind thank you for his gift
Don't look a gift horse in the mouth and don't bite the hand which feeds you.

Close but you left out a few key elements. The workers buy their own supplies, the cost of which have multiplied, and the wages haven't gone up a single penny in this century. Fewer employees every week are willing or able to continue to work there. So now, rather than compensate those bringing in the value to the company from their own profits the owners of the company have brought in a guy who makes a huge amount of money taking a percentage of peoples' injury settlements.
My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

If you're going to add some loot to the payout then just dole it out equally between all divisions. Guys are going to show up to race and like I said there is a good possibility one division will never a nickel.
Pretty sure I saw that if a Fab 4 night is rained out that the $2,000 for that week is split and goes into the point fund for each division. So unless there are zero nights that are rained out every division will see some of the $$.

Poopy pantsIt's funny how all the Trumptards talk shit on Obama, welfare and socialism, then essentially want a welfare/socialism setup for the purse at their local racetrack.
Racing is the ultimate display of Capitalism and so is Trump !
Trumptards as you call them .. or bitter clingers as the Muslim who’s grandma said he was born in Kenya called us is the Welfare and socialist king ! He added record numbers to welfare food stamps and Ss disability and Transgender Procedures paid for by military benefits all while building the worst economic presidential record in History !
The legacy is shIt! He is shit and he even looks like shit 3 out of 3 ain’t bad!
And there’s allot more talking about it to come !
Stay tuned!
Trumptards don’t race for start money poopy . They race to win or somewhere near the front
There is nothing welfare about racing
There isn’t any Participation trophies like you expect to get !
When someone crashes in front of the whole field .. they just look stupid and in your case short and stupid
And .. I voted for a black man before the hate America Muslim even became a Senator

Don’t think that’s fair to the analogyClose but you left out a few key elements. The racers show up anyways and have always bought their own stuff anyways
This sponsorship money no matter what experiment they are using to dole it out is extra money .
And by the way .... wages are up allot in just the last 2 years!
If you have not seen a pay raise or have not gone to another shop at 10% more money at least ... your not very good at what you do !

I was talking about the drivers, using the worker/wage analogy that was presented earlier. I'm pretty sure Don Martin was the last promoter to raise the purse at Lernerville and he died in the early 90's, so the payout has not gone up this century, (wages in the analogy), the cost of equipment has multiplied and the proverbial company has restricted what equipment the "employees" can use, further exacerbating the expense to payout gap. Instead of paying the "employees" more, Lernerville has made yet another deal with another devil for a bonus lottery.
I'm not saying that sponsorship is a problem, and this ambulance chaser has as much right to buy space as anyone else. I don't like the lottery/bonus aspect of it. How often at Lernerville does a King start on the pole? Random chance doesn't pull the number 1 pill every single time.

I'm not sure you know what welfare and socialism are if you think either one applies here.
