Glad Thunder Mountain is hosting BRP Modifieds July 24th. They really need to upgrade their schedule. Basically the same crap they've been doing for the last 12 to 15 years.

That is what I am saying. They need to be innovative and come up with new ideas or race formats to keep things fresh in the fans coming back or bring in new fans. Every year I have been going less and less and I used to be there every Friday night 4 years ago back when WRG had the track.

Maybe I'm crazy, but isn't working to make the racing better the main way to get and keep fans? Making the raciest division a slot car race, with crate motors only, is what made it easier for me to stay home. I go for the weekly show. I can't justify the cost of watching Donny Schatz blow by the entire field like they never got pushed off.
My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

I'll stay for the Stocks since they went to the Penn Ohio rules. As far as the WoO's go, I hate the qualifying format, but to me, it's still money well spent.

...and I'm not on any type of campaign against people enjoying the big shows. I think it's good to have them and the weekly shows.
