Jon raced a late model at PPMS. I have not heard much about him lately but he did go to some money races.

He lost his dad this past summer I heard over the world broadcast at eldora. I'm sure that had something to do with it.

Wonder if he talked about his obsession of male genitalia, seems to come up in every single post he ever did on here.  Time to come out of the closet Jonny boy!

Whether you race one or two hundred races a year, work in the pits or observe on track performance, being a racer is a mind set beyond setting the seat of your pants in a car.

I think Jon is just as much a 'racer' as anyone who frequents this board.

Rick doesn't get much seat time but he's a racer.

The only other option is if you don't set in or on something which races your a nothing, just a glorified fan be it in the stands, in the pits, working at the track, yes taking pictures and even announcing bragging about your accomplishments.  All your worth to racing is what you contribute in cash at the front or back gate, hoping gratification in some form or another rubs off on you from the real racers.

If you don't race at least three or four times a week, you too could be considered a wind bag bragger by those who do.

Give his credit I do, he's a racer and i'm just a glorified fan the same as most of you who read and post on here.

Exactly, and then the moron acted surprised that nobody really took him serious.  Complete waste of space.

I only ever noticed him drive twice. The first time was when he was one of 3 cars stacked into the front wall at Lernerville in the Stampede. Russ King was leading the race when he became the third car on the wall by hitting the second car on the wall. I think Huck was the first one. The second time I think he ran a real solid mid-pack race.

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

From running last in every C main Ive seen at Eldora, to the destruction at the stampede, to getting lapped in heat races at Pittsburgh old Johnny has done it all. I think his career lm highlight was getting in the same frame as Bloomer when he almost crashed him last year at Eldora.

Of course it's still better than any of my finishes.  :)

Huck may run his mouth at times but I will say this. A lot of times he said what others wouldn't say but yet agreed with what he was saying. As for his driving, he gets in that car maybe 3 times a year if that, and that pierce or the xr-1 has top parts on it. I doubt very much if he's putting new tires on and what is on there are probably hard as a rock. The guys that get into with him just aren't very smart and he takes, and gets, pleasure out of it. Solution is simple if you think about it. :)
