You all need to post something on here it is the local racing board !

Ok so you don't like the crap I write and it annoys you to no end.  SO WHAT?

I know all of you who really go to races around here hear this often:  Someone will say did you hear about such and such and the reply you'll make or you'll hear someone else say is "yeah I read about it on racestud but I never say anything on it".

WELL SAY SOMETHING anything at least once in awhile and don't be a freeloader leach on here.

Rick gets his penny's from this thing by you looking and inputting on here.

AT LEAST ONCE IN AWHILE THROW RICK A PENNY OR TWO by posting something stupid on here like I do !

Even if it's a simple "great stock race at Lernerville last Friday"

That simple offering does both Rick and Lernerville good.  It helps Ricks numbers and it might be enough for a fan to stay for the Stock race and maybe buy a cold burger on the way out if there's any left, helping the track.

Some of the toughest meanest bad ass race fans I see at the races ain't got the balls to say anything on here.

Like it or not this is where racers go to learn about a lot of what's going on in our area racing.  HELP IT OUT !

Ds2 i respect your passion about racing and i get what you are saying. . But you have to look at it from both sides. Not everyone has time like you or me to to do this! Racers, getting car ready work and family that dose not leave much time. Fans of racing have other things that might take time. Or like me i only add to this is when i have something to say like now.   And Retort  Good Luck in Florida.

Most people prolly doesnt post anything because they know it will most likely not matter a bit. I think certain tracks could do better to attract more racers.

Ok how many care that CBR went to a one car team. Don O'Neal will be watching his son Hudson try to get Mastersbuilt back. I don't see that happening. Anyone see josh richards ride this year ? IBRacin sponsorship, car looks good, but hopefully Boyer's brother is no longer calling the shots. If so the team will fall to the same old boyer shop dead end.

Does anyone care that Bloomquist had a hip surgery ? and that the goat may be ending his career prematurely ?

Ds2, you and a few others no why some people never comment anymore. He'll if I new as much as some of the people on here. Well you get it.

I think certain people who will remain nameless, rulined the board for many and they just don't pay it any attention anymore.  More news on Facebook!!!

GOOD RACING TO ALL!!!!

1- I find it very hard to care or pay attention to local weekly events anymore. They are dying off and I only attend touring series shows these days. Im a late model fan and have no interest in watching a field of 7 or 8 cars try to remain within half of lap of Mike Norris at a weekly show when I could just go to a Lucas show at Port Royal.

2- DirtStudent has taken over the board and is completely insufferable. Forget Twitter and 4m, ds2 is the downfall of Racestud.

Good point Vigoda, weekly shows are for sure getting worse before better. Hell the stock cars there cant even go run with any other stock cars because of the rules. I personally would rather watch 4 cylinders before big blocks any day.

Lernerville is a poor venue for the smaller classes.

The Big Blocks have consistently had the best racing on a weekly basis for a couple of years now. But, by all means........approach the Tomson's with your idea of what a windfall weekly 4-cylinder racing would provide for the track.

Most definitely did not mean I wanna watch the 4 cylinders. I said I would rather watch them vs the big blocks. It saying they should run there. Just that I dont like to watch them. Granted the racing up here 180 degrees diff then where Im from and its not gonna change. Not bashing Lernerville either, just saying what a ton of people say, lot of room for improvement

They need to rework their schedule. It has grown tiresome and boring. Apparently, thinking outside the box requires far too much effort and creativity.

If I owned a track myself, I would do specials only. I understand theres going to be a lot of people saying if it aint broke dont fix it, but weekly racing is close to broken. I know I have very little interest in attending a regular show unless it was free and I had nothing else to do. Im sure there are others who feel the same.

I dont see why the Working Man race got removed from the schedule or why they couldnt or shouldnt add a regional Late Model series show like the ULMS or Ultimate Northeast. Also given their relationship with Dirtcar and the fact that one of their weeks in July is dedicated to Mod Mania, why that race isnt a Super Dirt series race is a little confusing. I know it wasnt well attended in the past, but I would have to think it would be more attended than Mod Mania featuring the BRP Mods. Lastly, Ive always thought the Steel City Stampede is a tremendous waste of a great idea. Im certainly not expecting them to ever turn that event into the World Finals, but I think they could attract better fields if they paid better than 3,000 to win for the big 3. Overall, I think the prestige of Lernerville and the median income of the average race fan in their location certainly affords them the opportunity to be a little more ambitious with the schedule than they have been recently. I think the status quo theyre currently on is on a steep downward trajectory.
