Thanks for posting that!

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

last week they brought an old PMS Hobby stock over for me to attempt to put back together..
he also brought red "Pittsburgh" stands that look brand new but he had them awhile, few months or so.
saw this on yellow bullet the other night so took a pic of the numbers..his were 2 digits off on the final number.
the pin looks like one that goes thru the bottom of a Chevy distributor,a hollow rollpin..it holds the locking tab.

and I guess it takes ALL the weight when the car is let down on the stand..a hollow rollpin.

think about that...anything close I have is getting drilled with something strong in its place.

Maybe not, but I know at least one person who has Harbor Freight jack stands, and I knew to tell him to check them because of this post.
